You can hear the loud music, other guests TVs and most of all the kids yelling in the pool area. The rest was nice and charming. The Wi-Fi could be better too.

Wonderful stay!
We had such a perfect stay! We loved the location, the food at the restaurant was great, and the hospitality of the staff was amazing. We were driven to and from a number of places by the staff for free, and they arranged a fabulous snorkeling trip for us too. Would definitely recommend highly! Great pool and rooms, too.

Good location next to Mushroom Bay. Fantastic Service (I stay 100 hotel nights a year and this was possibly the best in a couple of years). Very low key. Good restaurant. Nice pool with low activity. Only criticism was for the rooms with a thatched roof. They look great but you do hear bugs and geckos which make it feel like you are sleeping in a tent rather than a room. Book a room without a thatched roof and you cannot go wrong.

This place was amazing. The staff were so helpful and always friendly. Helped us with moped rental and gave us tips where to go, arranged a Nusa Penida tour and it was perfect even with our 10 month old The villa is a 30 second walk to mushroom bay, the restaurant food was great We loved our stay and can’t recommend it enough

We really liked the hotel and facilities. We also rented a scooter (helmets included!) And a snorkelling trip (nice boat, they took photos underwater!) All very convenient and close to the beach and boat arrival area. The beach is full of boats, which is a pity, but we discovered the secret beach (just next door) on our second day. Breakfast was not the best we had in Bali, but it was not bad. Price of the extra bed for our daughter (who would have otherwise stayed for free) was expensive. I do not understand how hotels can get away with charging so much for a mattress on the floor!

Sanghyana Bay Villas review
We have been traveling in Indonesia for a month and The Sanghyana Bay Villas is our most memorable stay. This is a small and intimate place to stay and Mushroom Bay is one of the best location. The Villas are just 1 minute from the beach and the restaurant is overlooking the sea. Gede the manager deserves a special mention as nothing is ever a problem for him. He sorted out our snorkelling trip, which was the highlight of our trip, we saw many manta rays, and one of the best coral garden we’ve seen. In fact we enjoyed our snorkelling trip so much we went on the same excursion the next day. We stayed in a beautiful hut bungalow with a 4 poster bed and an alfresco bathroom. The hotel also has a decent sized pool and sun beds. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Absolutely loved staying at Sanghyang villas. The staff were all so friendly & helpful, organised snorkelling with the manta rays ...an awesone nust do & a tour of the island for us. The new pool is beautiful & the room was fresh & clean. Restaurant overlooking beach had great food . Would highly recommend staying & will definitely be back.

I’d stay here again
The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bed very comfortable. Stairs down to bathroom a bit steep if you are challenged in any way. Quiet at night. Staff lovely.. The restaurant which is just putside hotel is nothing special for food but has a nice view.

Villas set just back from Beach/Bay view. In tropical gardens with a pool in the middle. Villas thoughtfully designed to give maximum privacy. Good facilities and ideal for staying close to the beach and amenities. Breakfast at beachside restaurant. Very considerate helpful staff. Eager to please. Arranged boat trip for our return to Bali and helpful carrying package and brought us from our previous night’s stay at Jungutbatu.

My husband and I came here during our honeymoon trip to Bali. We ended up extending our stay immediately because we instantly fell in love with the island and the villas! The staff is AMAZING. Every single one of them was outgoing and friendly making sure we were enjoying our stay and getting as much as we could out of our trip. Having breakfast right there on the ocean was perfect, and there were plenty of yummy options to choose from as well. There were lots of great restaurants walking distance from the villa too. You could plan and snorkel trip or motorbike rental right from the front desk! We were so happy we found this place and would highly recommend everyone to stay here! You would be missing out of you chose to not stay here!
