We were passing through & decided to stay in Mt. Vernon. We decided to get a suite & were actually disappointed by how outdated it was. Also, went to the pool with my kids & the pool & hot tub were freezing because the water heater was broken. Staff is nice & it’s easy to get on the highway,

I stayed for 2 days. The facility was okay. The pool & hot tub were nice although the jets weren’t flowing as hard as a usual hot tub. Very light. My actual room was nice but when I looked closer like the sheets & covers, they weren’t new. There was hair all over both covers. The bathroom looked nice but after seeing the covers & sheets, I thought well how well could the bathroom have been cleaned? The carpet was okay but didn’t feel like it was the cleanliest carpet to walk on barefoot. All in all seems like a typical hotel but definitely not a 5 star hotel. I feel like the price should be just a bit lower for the standards I seen.

Previous stays were amazing; however, this time was not. The ac/heater unit’s fan was making an obnoxious noise all night, that made getting to sleep difficult. Also, the fitness center only had a single treadmill and it was out of order. So due to this, and the weather outside, we were not able to get our run in.
