Amazing service amazing stay. We had inside balcony (cascades) room. Clean comfortable and quiet. Customer service was great everywhere we ate from the sports bar to old hickory steak house. This time of year is slow so it was like having the whole place to ourselves .

Splurge stay
We had a balcony room in the Cascades atrium. Only downfall was there was live music at a bar for a couple of hours in the evening. We wanted to leave the doors open to hear the water but then the music interfered with listening to the TV. I think the Garden Conservatory would be the quietest. But then again we stayed in a very slow time and a bunch of areas were closed, so maybe that would be livelier during a busy time.

Opreland Hotel is a wonderful place to get away! They have beautiful areas to walk around, the riverboat is cool! They have options for people who aren't able to walk great distances with scooter rentals. The restaurants we visited weren't always the greatest for the price... one mixed up our order on meatless burgers versus regular burgers and the one regular burger was seriously undercooked. They need more vegetarian/vegan friendly options. Breakfast was amazing!

Wonderful! But: Needs microwave, refrig not cold enough, Pools too COLD, Food mostly easy junk & $$$, Cleaned my room at 7:30 PM, Cleaning lady VERY rude, Room service chats for tip, just stop; Hot tub TOO hot, Pools COLD - we CAME for pool!!! HATE 11 am checkout. But beautiful, amazing! Oh needs BENCHES, too BIG for old people!!!

We had an interior atrium view room My granddaughter dropped an EarPod over the balcony of our room and it landed on the roof of one of the restaurants inside the atrium. Staff was very kind and was able to send someone to retrieve it immediately. Very impressed with staff.

A wonderful, family friendly option that also has an adult vibe and appreciation. So clean, so much to see and do, so much to eat, see and explore. Christmas time is still my favorite time to visit. Wear your walking shoes, and download the map for more efficient ‘bee line’ back to your room when you’re exhausted. Lots of places to rest and relax, other than your room. I’d love to see some sort of swings or hammocks in the future!
