Late arrival with a smooth check in only to open my room door and be greeted by a smelly room without teacups or no towels in the bathroom, I was immediately disappointed. My disappointment was further compounded by the fact that the wait time was excessive for these items that I should not have had to request. For this reason, I would not recommend this resort. The buffet breakfast was a no for me and there is a restaurant across the street from the property to the left that was a better option. The bed was comfortable and the location was great though. Demetre and the bell men were kind. And that was it. Lots of potential and room for improvement. I would love to consult with this property in that regard.

Although this is a 100 year old property, it’s still such a beautiful place. The only thing I would upgrade would be the mattresses and toilets bc I felt like I was in kindergarten. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and definitely would come back.

Erroneous charges to my credit card. I was charged for a breakfast buffet for two that I never had. They never pick up the phone even when calling during my stay. I have been waiting for days for a response to my email regarding the charges and have yet to get a response after reaching out multiple times. I have been calling for days and can not get anyone outside of reservations. Reservations claimed they’re picking up from another country and couldn’t help.

We wanted to chill and not leave the property much. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and newly remodeled. Private pool and beach were exceptional. Outdoor staff very attentive and the few times we left for dinner, good food was only a block or two away. Not much shopping in walking distance but that was not on our list this trip.

Unfortunately staff at the front desk and waiter at the restaurant are not really friendly, my room wasn’t cleaned when we got it. However Jen executive manager did send an apology and a token for the trouble, she Definitely did the extra effort in paying attention to details. The hotel overall is really quiet and nice, very convenient location. A bit more attentiveness to service would have made a greater experience.

The manager was great. She switched me out the first room because there was black stuff around tge shower lining lije mold and the toilet wouldn't stop making this water running sound. 2nd room AC didn't work I was sweating and it took a while for shower to get hot. Beautiful property but that was disappointing for price paid and no credits or compensation for inconvenience other thab some fruits, a slice of cake and wine for my brother's birthday which hotels always do when I travel as an Hilton honors member and Titanium member at Mariott.

I was not advised that this hotel is cashless until it was time for me to check in. There were several bank holds on my checking account, Along with the total fee for my stay. I checked out of the hotel on Tuesday 12/31/25, today is Friday 01/03/25 and the holds are still on my checking account. I do not like those type of financial transactions. The surrounding area was extremely noisy and I could not get proper rest. I WILL NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN.
