Unbeatable location, but would be nicer if the do some refurbishing. Adding a mini fridge in room would be super. Rooms old and noisy (next door rooms) but still comfortable.

our room was super small. it was by the elevator, so a little noisy, but not bad. bed was comfortable, but *super* gushy and soft which is not our preference. we weren't in the room a lot, so it was workable. everything was clean and worked as expected. decent price and a good value overall, but certainly not luxury. the bakery down the street was a big plus!

Located behind the iconic Empire State Building, surrounded by Koreatown. The hotel is old but in good condition, lets face it my family and I only when there to sleep no for any other commodities and it serv it purpose. Staff was courteous and humble, if you like oriental food then you are surrounded with a plethora of it. Excellent amenities just a walking distance from the hotel. I highly recommended for couples or family the only want a simple place just to sleep after wandering around Manhattan.

Heater in my room does not work so I have a stand alone heater. Room is dirty and run down. All facilities need to be updated. Shower does not include tub and needs to be repaired. Not worth it for the price. Good location aside from that.

staff not very knowledgeable on any questions on the area. And disagreed us when we had an issue with a very loud a/c The reason I have a high score for staff was the doorman. I wish I could remember his name. Great customer service friendly and genuinely nice. And he was the one that came to our room and agreed it was loud and had them change our room. Amazing service from this guy.

Hotel was suitable and quiet inside when compared to the street noise and crowds outside. No door person was there to assist with luggage and steps have no railings. Check in was not the best. My credit card company must have placed a security lock on my account for precaution, and the desk attendant didn’t work to resolve it. I had to use another means of payment. Thank the lord I had one. And I had to contact credit card co to resolve after getting to room. The desk should have made attempt and suggested at that moment to contact them. The next morning a different and more customer friendly person at front desk listened to what occurred and reran my card with no issues and refunded the other card. The room was fine and comfortable.

Solid hotel with friendly staff and amenities
Friendly staff, Glad to have a lobby area and rooftop bar. Shower stall pretty small, but hey, it’s NY! Comfortable bed, had a closet, desk, and dresser. Good location— lively area.
