Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. I was a solo traveler, so the amount of space was great. It would have also been fine with another guest. The location is very close to Perkins Cove, but the main area of downtown is about a 15-20 walk, this includes the main beach. Fortunately, Ogunquit is a walkable town, so this was fine for me. I appreciated the accessibility of the host, Kim, and the east check-in process. It is co-located with an art gallery and a main residence in the front of the house. You share a front door with the art gallery, so it is not completely separate. The gallery is only open on weekends, though, at least when I was there, so this was not an issue. I did have some issues regarding the accuracy of the listing. First was the TV. It does not have cable or satellite access, as listed. It is internet based and uses a Ruku streaming system/device. This would have been fine, but there were major connectivity issues from the time I got there that I had to troubleshoot with the host. The Roku system would not connect to the property wifi at first, and when it did, the connection was so poor that it would not stream anything. The host was helpful and let me know that I could try to connect via my phone's hotspot. After multiple tries, I got this to work. Luckily, I have unlimited data access, so this was fine. The host also did a "boost" to the property wifi, which allowed for me to connect via that for about at day, but then it was back to a poor connection. I eventually just stopped using the TV and used my laptop for Netflix instead. The second inaccuracy of the listing is the private deck/patio. This is not entirely accurate as it is located outside of the loft at the end of the shared parking lot. You have to go outside of the of the loft to access it. It is also located by a shared driveway, so I would not say that it is private, as anyone could walk into it. The loft was clean and the furniture was nice. However, there is no dishwasher and there was no dish soap, so I had to purchase some and wash the dishes by hand. This was not a big deal, but there was no drying rack, so I has to use paper towels to set them out to dry. There was a rack in the bottom of the sink, which I guess would have worked, but that did not seem to be a good option. There was also only one hand towel for the week. I also think there should be a shade on the other window in the bedroom, as it is bright in there. This will be great with some improvements!
