Beautiful & Comfortable Hotel
It is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous area with scenic mountain views. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. I would recommend the hotel. I was not greeted by a happy clerk when I checked in because it was my impression that it was nothing personal, just an unhappy man. The rest of our stay was enjoyable and I will definitely go back.

This place is incredibly dated. The bed is not good and they give you these tiny square pillows on a king bed. The bottom sheet had a stain on it and the place smelled musty. Wanted to get out of there as soon as we could.

After checking in had to get a quick shower in before going to a reservation we had. There was hair in the shower from someone who had shaved. After coming back to go to bed, went to the restroom and there was a cockroach!! I definitely would not have stayed here if that sucker came out during the day.

A very old Hollywood resort. Overall clean and inexpensive but could use updates. Our first room the shower faucet flew off. And had to get moved to a new room.

The Hotel was very nice and clean. It is an older hotel so it does have that older hotel smell. But the room was very clean and spacious. The bed was a bit firm for inside sleeper but comfortable.

The floors in the hotel room I stayed were dirty, after getting out the shower barefooted my feets were black, also the AC had dust blowing out so my allergies were kicking in pretty hard. Overall it felt comfortable and safe.

Overall it was good for the price. The good was the clean lobby and the area around the hotel is clean and well kept. What I did not like was the bed mattress was sunk and uneven, the AC system blows the cold air right at you while you sleep next to it, and you can’t adjust direction. Lastly they charge 20 dollars for self parking and it was not advertised on Expedia nor at check in.

Be prepared for no valet and no bell hop!
Worst check in experience. I had a lot to carry, waited for 10 minutes and despite the valet sign, no valet ever came out. I had to self park a distance away and lug everything in to the hotel in 100 degree weather. Then once at the front desk, I was told there was no bell hop so I had no choice but to use a ridiculously heavy cart to carry my belongings and maneuver it on and off of an elevator and then for an extremely long walk to my room. This took so much time I had no time to get settled before heading back out for the funeral of a loved one. Very disappointing to say the least!

This was one of the loudest says my wife and I have had at a property. We were on the second floor and could hear all the footsteps from the third floor above us and anybody walking in the hallway. The property was cute and All the photos in the hallways of Lucy and Desi and other members of The rat pack were all cool. Pool was nice. The Continental breakfast was very basic, no options for protein in the morning without paying extra.

This property definitely needs an overhaul. I’m all for nostalgia, but some things definitely need updates and need to be fixed. The water pressure in the rooms is terrible. Anytime anyone closes their door from their room. You can hear it all the way down the hallway and feel it into your room and vibrate the walls. Our balcony door broke and locked us out for an hour before we were able to get anyone to come in and let us in. And the staff response was well that happened sometimes. Very unacceptable and a terrible answer. If your doors are locking people outside. Then you need to fix all of your doors. Ordered room service. The next day over 12 hours the food was still sitting out in the hall. No one had come by to collect it. As far as staying here again most likely not a chance.
