Do not stay in this unit
This was a very bad experience for my family. I am still waiting on VACASA to reimburse me for all of the issues I had.
- no parking pass (I called VACASA when we walked in and didn’t see it. They said they would let their local team know and one would be delivered the next day. It was never delivered, and yes we gave permission to enter our unit.)
- fan is stuck on low in the master bedroom making it very hot. We slept with the door open, and it didn’t help the flow.
-mold in the master overflow drain
- silverware all had dried food stuck to it. The kitchen knives, and forks were the worst. We ended up buying plastic forks, knives and paper plates due to the cleanliness of the eating utensils.
-the washing machine was broken. I paid more for a unit with a washing machine in the unit, and I couldn’t use it. I was told by VACASA, they would let the local team know to come fix it, and remind them to bring a parking pass. It was never fixed and the parking pass was never given.
- we lost power for 20 minutes on Friday.
- we woke up Saturday with no water for check out. That meant we couldn’t run the dishwasher. We let VACSA know. This could explain the dried food on silverware.
- the pipe in the wall of the master bedroom shakes and makes loud noises when you turn the water on in the sink.
- when we came into the unit, we killed live roaches- it needs pest control.
- I will never rent from VACASA again. I will rent from local managers that take care of their units.
