The room wasn’t very clean. There was clothes left over from the previous people, we found a bug that looked like either a tick or bed bug. There was a constant smell of marijuana.
Friendly staff though.
I asked on 3 different times, after 3 days of staying there, to have housekeeping clean my room. I never saw a single person and there was a $20 bill on the bed to thank them. My last night, the night staff woman went above and beyond to try to repair the damage. She was wonderful!!
I was there for 6 nights and it was good. I asked for housekeeping to cleany room 3 times and it never happened! I told both the night shift and the day shift that I would be staying another night and I needed my room cleaned. Finally on my last night a staff was persistent enough to come to my room and bring me fresh towels and take out my garbage! She was amazing!! I was happy with my whole stay except housekeeping and they did not even realize I had left a $20 tip ony bed each day for them. It is in my pocket now!!
I plan on calling corporate on this issue I have stayed at this motel many times and ask I come in to check because I reserved another stay I get told by the front desk that they were told I need to clean my room I need to clean my room! The customer who pays for the room needs to clean it when there's like three pizza boxes laying around but regardless I the customer! Need to clean my room ya... It doesn't work that way nor am I very happy about it asking I guess maybe I would have anyways but I as the customer getting told! I need to! Ya how about no I'm talking to corporate because the manager was not straight forward when I confronted him about it and I won't ever be staying at this super 8 location again!
The television did not work. The refrigerator did not work. It was not stated that there would be an extra charge for a pet, but I was charged an extra $35 on top of the room price. It says on the website there is a pool, but it is an outdoor pool that couldn't be used as part of our vacation plan.
The floor in the room we stayed in looked like someone died in it. As if there was blood all over the carpet. Also smelt like a sweaty homeless person had been sleeping in it for a month. Could not get the smell out of my nose.
The property and róoms are old, the carpets discussing, the drapes over the windows discussing and stained, no friendliness in your employees.., probably one of the worse hotels to stay in!!!!!
