Great hotel in central Salzburg, 10 minutes walk from station, less into town. Helpful bi lingual staff, big clean rooms, amazing breakfast on top floor with views of city. Perfect for our family of 4. Cellar restaurant is really good. Easy check in/out. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Definitely come again.

Hotel was generally good. Rooftop bar was nice. They have a buffet on the roof for breakfast ~35 Euros (we didn't do it). We ate at the pub style restaurant in the basement - it was ok. Everyone we talked to spoke English which was easy. We were there for NYE so it was quite busy. We walked to the Christmas market nearby on NYE and to the Fortress for fireworks. The room and WiFi were good but the shower was awkward. It's a tub with a half glass wall near the shower head but you need to reach into the shower area to turn it on. The head points at the wall so you don't get wet hopefully but could be better. Parking was awkward. You need to park in the loading area near the front door, check-in (to learn about the garage a block away), and then call the hotel from the garage ticket machine (no tickets) on arrival and departure. If all this was explained up-front it would have been much easier - we went around the hotel 3 times (due to 1 way streets, etc). Before eating at a restaurant nearby it's good to check up front if it's cash-only as a highly rated one nearby was cash-only.

Great hotel and the location was very convenient. It's a bit of a walk in the winter to the old city but there is a bus station right outside. Our room was spacious and beds comfy. The breakfast was great as well. On our last night we were to tired to go somewhere so we made a last minute reservation at their restaurant upstairs and their food was delicious.

Superb location, very clean and nice hotel.
Very convenient location, good sized rooms and amenities - we enjoyed our stay here as it was easy to either take a bus (2 stops) or walk to the old town where all the Christmas markets were. It is also conveniently located across the bus stop (to the old town/fortresss) and very near the local tours meeting point (across Mirabelle Palace)

Smart, well-maintained hotel
Smart, well-maintained hotel within easy walking distance of the Altstadt. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The ‘Keller’ and Skybar/restaurants offered different but equally pleasing atmospheres and the food in both was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Nice hotel and in a good location. My advice is to order breakfast with room reservation or ahead of time with the reception to avoid embarrassment with the dining staff and being accused of not having a room. Being loudly told to pay in front of the fellow diners was beyond ridiculous and unprofessional. Was later apologized to after our rooms were found, but the event spoiled our morning. We will not be back.

Wonderful stay from start to finish. Super friendly staff at check-in that held our luggage, then phones us when our room was available. The family room had two separate bedrooms, a nice shower and candies waiting for us. The breakfast is located on the top floor with beautiful views. Amazing selection, quality and attentive staff. The pub in the lower level had good food and again superior staff. The location is very good too. We are so happy we chose this hotel in Salzburg

We had a lovely three days here before Christmas. The rooms are large and cleaned really well. The staff were helpful. It was a 20 minute walk to the old town and in the perfect location to explore the Mirabell Palace and gardens and to pick up the coach for the sound of music tour. The Pitter Keller downstairs had a great atmosphere with good food and beer. The Sky bar was a lovely spot for a drink. Finally, breakfast was one of the best we have had in any hotel. Would book again without hesitation. Many thanks!

Great location and convenient hotel for families
We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and this hotel was perfect for us. We booked the suite which had 2 bedrooms (a king size bed and a pullout couch) and we are all very comfortable. The people at the front desk were very friendly and provided great recommendations. The hotel is at a great location, walking distance from many attractions. The hotel has a restaurant which was extremely convenient for those days when the kids were tired. I would 100% recommend this hotel!
