Walkable to Historic St Augustine
The house is surrounded by garden and song birds. There is a game room in the garage, which is great for hanging out playing darts on rainy days. Well-equipped kitchen if you want to cook in, and there is a propane grill for cook outs (pork loins did just fine on it). There is a screen porch out back and outdoor front and side porches for hanging out in the afternoon with a cold beverage. Beautiful sunsets from the front porches! We walked across the bridge into historic St. Augustine several times - very safe. Enjoyed the Fort and all the history the town has to offer. Be sure to listen to the bells of the church in the main plaza. Restaurants abound, and the Osprey Taco place in the neighborhood has outstanding food. Be sure to check out Anastasia State Park for wide, beautiful, sandy beaches, and the hidden gem of the Ancient Dunes Trail there - lots of song birds in a maritime forest setting. The Alligator Farm is a wonderful zoological park - not a tourist trap. They do great work in world-wide reptile species preservation, and their staff are knowledgable and friendly. Worth the admission.Steve K was a great host - super responsive and thoughtful. Recommend him highly and we will book with him again when we next go to St. Augustine

St. Augustine VRBO review
My 86-year old mom and I stayed at this nicely appointed home in February 2025. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable. There are 2-3 steps at each entrance to get into the home. I enjoyed the screened in sunroom. The furniture in the living area was comfortable as were the beds. There were games and puzzles in one of the closets of which we took advantage. I was looking forward to riding a bicycle but the weather was not warm enough. Communication with the home owner, Steve, was easy and he replied in a timely fashion. We would stay here again.

Wonderful
We loved staying on Anastasia Island in this cottage. It was just right and very comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was super nice. Loved the decor. The owner was great with communication. The yard was absolutely perfect for our dogs to run in. It was lovely sitting outside in the back yard and watching them. The covered back porch was a nice plus. It was very quiet and peaceful and close to everything we wanted to do.

Always a treat to stay here!
We usually rent this beautiful little house once or twice a year to come down and enjoy beautiful Saint Augustine. The house is perfect for just the two of us or when we have family come down with us as well. The house looks exactly as described in the photos! It is comfortable, really cute with an awesome backyard, and you will be thrilled that you booked this as your homebase for exploring historic downtown Saint Augustine, or the beautiful beaches. We cannot recommend this property!

Perfect spot in St. Augustine
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this location. It was in a quiet neighborhood, perfect sized house with great amenities! We loved the kitchen, the garage (loved playing darts), and riding the bicycles. We rode our bikes downtown and to the amphitheater! The beaches were close and plenty of food options nearby as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The host was very kind and a great communicator.

Family trip
We took our first family beach trip with our 11 month old and we had a wonderful time and stay. The area is super neat and nice and quiet and our host was awesome and quick without being over bearing. Break house to stay and everything was clean and just as listed. We would like to be back with our sister and brother in law next time!

Perfect VRBO in a great neighborhood!
This is our 4th time at this property and it truly feels like our “home away from home”. The neighborhood is charming and close to beaches and historic downtown. The house is very cute and the yard is perfect! The host is so responsive (not that we ever need much of anything). If you are looking for a beautiful and comfortable house that has everything you need and wonderful hosts, look no further! We won’t stay anywhere else in St. Augustine!

What a wonderful place to stay! Great location in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything the area has to offer. Excellent communication with host. Very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Fun sunroom, fenced backyard, and delightful retro decor. Every amenity plus thoughtful extras such as large coffee mugs and lots of hangers. Nice home at a great location
Very pleased with our stay. Home was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Host was fantastic to work with. Enjoyable walks around the neighborhood with our dogs each day and then an easy mile across the bridge into town. Nearby local restaurants and the light house museum. Would recommend if you want to see the local sights but not be in the hectic downtown area.

This property is excellent! The house is adorable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay in St. Augustine. Walking distance to Historic downtown if you don’t mind walking over the Bridge of Lions. The house is well furnished and has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. It’s perfect for 4 adults or a family with kids. We are repeat visitors and this is our first choice of places to stay when we visit St. Augustine. Perfect from start to finish!
I can’t say enough about Stephen and his customer service! He was absolutely wonderful and a breeze to communicate with. Upon booking, he called and text to thank me! He also said to call him around noon the day of check in as we’d probably be able to check in early. Guess what? We could! Who does that? My husband and I stay in a lot of VRBO homes, and that was the first time a host has offered that. Upon arrival, we were so pleased at the awesome location. The house is in a culdesac, so traffic was minimal and literally two minutes to the bridge of lions! The house is an older model, but it was so cute with retro decor. We loved the outdoor enclosed patio, and the back yard was absolutely gorgeous! Our two pups had a blast playing in this completely fenced and safe yard. We were celebrating my birthday that weekend, and some of my in-laws stopped by and surprised me. We had a blast in the garage, which was more like a man cave! Everyone played darts, cornhole and sang karaoke. All in all, absolutely wonderful stay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host! Thank you so much for an unforgettable trip!

Among Locals
Steve's house is home away from home and equipped with everything you may need. The best part was to be among locals who are so kind and knowledgeable. Only a ten min. walk to the Bridge of Lions and all St. Augustine has to offer. We and our teens loved this house.
