I stayed for one night. At check-in, the young lady at the front desk received a call regarding another customer's accommodation and kept me waiting for over 10 minutes. She processed my payment, handed me the keys, and gave directions to my room hastily because she was still on the phone. After realizing I had already paid through Expedia, I informed the same staff member, who told me I needed to request a refund from Expedia. As a result, I spent the next hour trying to resolve the issue (I eventually received the refund 10 days later). Overall, the hotel is modest and has all the essentials, with a limited but included breakfast. The staff, however, needs serious improvement; I’m sorry to say she seemed quite incompetent.

Our bathroom and toilet bowl were not cleaned when we checked in. Front desk was not very helpful. The attached restaurant was terrible, they served stale food. We didn't take the free breakfast after the first day. Also the restaurant would force gratuity, which is awful. Would not recommend the hotel and the restaurant.

I arrived about 7:30 PM and the small hotel lobby was full of international tourists from several countries. The tourists were rude and pushy with the hotel clerks, but the clerks remained calm and professional throughout. The hotel was full and the clerks had to turn many away as I waited my turn to check in. The building is an older building but it is tastefully decorated with Navajo art work and historic pictures that give it a charming feel. The room was clean and comfortable and the night was peaceful. The next morning, we ate next door at the Navajo dinner traditionally decorated and we used our gift certificates. There were several large Navajo families having breakfast and the restaurant was obviously a local eatery. The food was very good and the staff very kind and friendly. With our hotel gift certificates, our hearty breakfast came to only a few dollars. I highly recommend this place.

So happy we stopped here
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, comfortable clean bed, slightly small bathroom and no elevator but even for someone like me with limited mobility it didn't deter from overall experience. What really made this place special is the restaurant literally right next to the hotel that you get a breakfast voucher for, and the historic Trading Post, Code Talkers WWll exhibit, and interactive Navajo museum all a short walk away. The Trading Post had so much amazing stuff that was locally made. It all made for a wonderful stop.

First time staying, it is an older place but it seems they do their best to keep to keep it modern (ie TV, bedding). Only cons were floor sounds echo like and could not use our breakfast coupons because of the holiday.
