“The Meadows” Container Home in Country Setting

Summary:
The Mainsail is a tiny container home handcrafted by CargoHome™ right here in Waco. With 1 bedroom and an inflatable floor mattress, it sleeps uptimes to 4 people. Features a super comfy Hilton queen mattress. The rooftop deck lights up beautifully at night and is a great place to stargaze or enjoy a morning coffee. Full size, custom-tiled shower and spacious bathroom completes this beautiful home. Just a short 12 minutes to Magnolia and Baylor.

The Space:
This unique home started as a 40' shipping container. Our build company, CargoHome, insulates and panels the interior in pine shiplap and trim it out in 100+ year-old barn wood. The outside is clad with cedar siding, spaced to allow the original container to still be seen. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with LED lights that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. LED lights inside and a super-quiet, efficient mini-split AC unit makes this a comfortable, energy efficient space.

The Neighborhood:
Great, safe neighborhood in the country just north of Waco. 5 minutes from I-35 and 3 minutes from Homestead Cafe and Craft Village. Only 8 minute from the Waco airport.

Getting Around:
You can park right at the house and Uber is available.

Interaction with Guests:
We live right around the corner so are available for anything you need including any questions on the house or your time in Waco. We’ll try to meet you to show you the house if possible but you can also check yourself in with the passcode we’ll send you the day of check-in.

Nice stay next to Homestead Heritage
This was our first stay in Waco and first in a tiny home. The best part of the stay was being right next to Homestead Heritage with the kind of stuff my wife loves to browse. The container home has comparable space to a good-size hotel room, but the benefits of being in your own little house. The interior was in great shape, clean, and had nice finishes. A storm knocked out the wifi for the bulk of our stay, but the owner was super responsive and made sure things were made right. We enjoyed our stay and would likely stay there again if visiting Waco.

Very unique, very clean, very comfortable. Perfect for somewhat secluded quiet night for two people. The “tiny house” is very well appointed and very comfortable for two people. Very nice bathroom, comfy bed. Will be back.

Smaller than I expected
This is a very cute VRBO, the size was smaller than I expected. I also should have looked closer to see that there is not a Washer/dryer in the unit. A week was a little long for the size. I would definitely stay again for a long weekend with 2 people is perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was exceptionally clean and looked just like the pictures. The property was quiet and easy to come and go. The property management was great to communicate with and they even sent a daily email before they closed to make sure you didn’t need anything. Check in/ out was really easy. Would definitely stay here again!

OMG! This was the cutest, cleanest, coolest VRBO ever! The area is safe and quiet! The only negative is the fact that we didn’t receive a unit number with our passcode, but it all worked out well. This is a MUST STAY, especially for the price!!

Darling little place!
Stayed here with my daughter for 3 nights while we enjoyed all the Waco sights. It was the perfect place for our stay: super cute & cozy, comfortable bed, very quiet, safe, & peaceful area, yet not too far from any attractions. It was our first time staying in a tiny home & I would definitely do it again. All the homes in this area looked comparable & well taken care of. Also they are situated in a country like setting which is nice after a busy day in town. Thank you!!

Great get away
My husband and I stayed at this tiny house for our 12 year anniversary. This tiny home is adorable. I loved the aesthetic! We enjoyed seeing the new Magnolia additions, eating at Heritage Homestead Cafe for dinner and relaxing at the tiny house. This was a great two day getaway. We are looking forward to taking our family here next month!
