The hotel though old, was in good condition in a great location with good walking distance to many sites including the White House. Our room on the 11th floor was very nice and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We were quite pleased with the staff and the availability of bottled water in the hall ways and coffee and tea making machine in the lounge area. One suggestion is for the provision of Microwave either in the rooms or in a central location.

Great place to stay
Stayed here for a short trip to DC in December. The front desk staff make this hotel great! So friendly! Almost like family which sounds crazy. Maybe it's just the Christmas spirit. HA! Anyway, the location is close to the capital and centrally located for other downtown exploring and dining. The price is great. It is not a fancy historic downtown hotel so manage your expectations and you'll be pleased with your choice.
