Cute nautical decor. Excellent check-in experience. Desk clerk even booked our boat shuttle and tickets to Boldt Castle. Room was comfortable. We were on first floor and could hear creaking from upstairs.

I’d stay here again. The rooms were very well appointed and very clean. Loved the balcony overlooking the water! The bed was a bit soft for my tastes and they had a problem with the bottom sheet not fitting the mattress but that was a minor problem. Right next to the boat tour dock and within walking distance to everything!!!!

Excellent place to stay when visiting Alexandria Bay, NY. View from the room is the best. You park your car and everything is within walking distance. Room was quiet and clean.

First impressions, carpet outside on way to room was very dirty. Our room was full of little bugs, as was the terrace. I had to ask for tissues and toilet paper. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful. The pool was very cold and they had some issues with it because it didnt open on time. We did however have a wonderful time.

My only choice when I stay in,Alex Bay.
I have stayed here multiple times and this resort never disappoints. Rooms are spacious and clean and the water views can't be beat. I have no desire to stay anywhere else.

Best Stay in the Bay!
This stay is top notch! The rooms are beautifully decorated and there is everything you need inside the room, except there is no microwave. The balcony overlooking the water is spectacular, the pool is pristine, and there is dining and shopping steps away. We will always stay at Capt. Thomson's when we visit the Bay! Highly recommended!

Nice older property. Well maintained and every room seemed to have a balcony with a view of the harbor or river. Spend the extra for the castle view. Town is nice and definitely walkable. Make sure you take the trip to Boldt Castle.
