Enjoy a beautiful cabin settled in the country surrounded by forest and wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful with a wonderful stocked, swimming pond. There is a queen bed in the upstairs loft, and 2 twin beds in the downstairs bedroom. Comfortably sleeps 4. The kitchen is fully stocked and linens and towels are provided. Close to Alfred University and SUNY Alfred. Many activities close by including Letchworth State Park, horseback riding, and skiing.
During your stay at this holiday home, you'll be within walking distance of Turnpike State Forest. The holiday home includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

Quaint Cabin
We were in town for a quick overnight for our daughter's horse show at Alfred State. The cabin was clean and cozy and met our needs for the night. I'm sure the porch is a beautiful spot to sit in warmer weather. I must have missed that you need to bring your own toilet paper as there was only a half a roll that with 5 people didn't last our entire stay but other than that it was perfect.

Excellent getaway from the noise. It is a log house and decorated that way.
2nd time there, It is fairly remote / private if that's what you're looking for. We love it. Just like the pictures. we'd come again.

Amazing!!
I had rented out the cabin with my fiance for a few days for Valentine’s Day and she absolutely loved it! We both did! It was kind of tricky finding the driveway but the owners came to save the day in seconds!! The scenery is beautiful, quiet and peaceful! We’ll definitely be booking again, thank you so much!!

Great Time
This is the second time my family and I have stayed at the country cabin and we've loved it both times. We've never spent a Thanksgiving anywhere but home, though with the recent loss of some loved ones, we wanted to start a new holiday tradition. I think we found one! Those place will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we hope to come back every Thanksgiving!

Privacy in nature :)
Not only was it such fun to stay in a log cabin, but the surroundings were absolutely lovely. Peace and quiet with birdsong being the only sounds. A hummingbird greeted us when we first arrived - that sums it up! :) The perfect place to decompress and enjoy life. Thank you!!

Absolutely wonderful getaway!
The Country Cabin was exactly what we were looking for. My kids and I had a great time. The swing set and horse shoes were a lot of fun. We fished, played and swam in the pond all day. Both of my kids caught their first fish! Great memories. I highly recommend this place if your looking for something truly out of the way (no neighbors in sight!) with a lot of peace and quiet.

It was a great place to get away and relax! We enjoyed seeing deer on the property every day and fishing in the pond. Also, close enough to Watkins Glen and Letchworth State Park for a day trip. Thanks again Richie and Shannon!

Just what the Dr. Ordered
Our stay was amazing. It was a little hard to find but once we followed the numbers on the mailboxes we figured out where we needed to be. The house is gorgeous! Pictures do not do it justice. Beds were comfy too! Now, let’s talk about the outside, sitting on the deck drinking our morning coffee was surreal. The pond is stocked and my husband fished every chance he had at all hours of the day. He caught 4 total and one was a HUGE big mouth bass.. he was shocked, excited and got the fever to keep on trying. I enjoyed seeing him so relaxed and in his element. There is a fire pit, that we used both nights however we did have a hard time finding wood. We did buy it from a gas station in town. I would suggest you grab some on the way from someone selling on the side in one of the towns along the way. There was a person selling down the road but it was by the face cord only. Our overall stay was simply amazing! We will definitely be booking another stay in the future. Thank you Richie and Shannon for sharing your adorable home with us.

Great location and access to Andover and Alfred. Only one bathroom so plan accordingly. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was cute. Pond and outside nature scenes were the best part of this rustic cabin. Thanks!

Country Cabin is just perfect!
The cabin was relaxing, secluded and absolutely perfect! Stocked with everything you need. We explored Letchworth State Park and Watkins Glen State Park. Both are stunningly beautiful and are so worth the drive. We plan to return!

Very secluded.
This is an absolutely beautiful property! Extremely secluded, stunning views, beautiful and huge pond. Borders a state forest, with a creek. We even heard the coyotes in the hills late at night. Kitchen is fully stocked. We had a wonderful time!
