Chose for the close location to u of m hospital.
After reading many good reviews we booked this hotel for an easy access to u of m hospital for an early morning procedure. Upon arrival the hotel had no signage so therefore arriving after dark made it very difficult to locate as the adjacent buildings are out of business and therefore the lighting is very poor. Once inside it had a run down feel but we were just there for overnight. We got our room key, went to the 3rd floor, complete opposite end of the hotel only to find out the room we were given was never cleaned. So back down we went where the very nice gentleman apologized and gave us another room. The pool area no longer has a hot tub as seen in previous pictures it was replaced with a table and chairs and only the knobs on the wall remain. Plants from the pictures were no longer there instead there was a big hole in the wall. The rooms had a rundown feel but were clean. The bed however was like sleeping on piece of wood. It used to be a Hampton Inn and hopefully they are in the process of remodeling instead of just letting it get more rundown. It fit its purpose for us even if we didn’t get a good nights sleep.

Perfect for a short stay!
The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the staff helpful. They let us check out late. The only downside is that breakfast wasn't the greatest, and they didn't refill empty containers.
