Venture out to explore the neighborhood bars and restaurants on foot or on one of the many micro-mobility options available in Austin. Or stay in to cook up some steaks on our outdoor grill and sip cocktails on the patio by the firepit. Features a private gym, two offices, and great wifi.

Throughout the house, you will also find a few mid-century modern classics - Saarinen breakfast table, Eames chairs, and the very famous Noguchi coffee table.
You'll have the entire place to yourself. Just 1 mile to downtown and 3 miles to the UT campus.
East Austin is just a short ride away where you’ll find some of the best restaurants and bars in town, and plenty of music!

In compliance with our policies for long term stays, we need to collect a few additional fees from you before guaranteeing this reservation. Please see below and reply here with any questions. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.
Additional Cleaning Fee:
We do require additional cleaning fees for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning.
Guest Access:
We offer self-check-in. Portoro uses smart locks.
•We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts in advance. If the house happens to be ready earlier than our standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, we, in most cases will allow an early check-in. For a reliable alternative with guaranteed check-in or check-out timing, it's recommended to book the night before or after your scheduled arrival or departure.
The Neighborhood:
The Holly and East Cesar Chavez district, with its industrial-chic brewpubs, craft cocktail lounges and live-music rooms, picks up the pace after dark. Art galleries, vintage boutiques, bike shops and coffee houses mix with Mexican restaurants and BBQ joints. The Tejano Walking Trail honors the neighborhood’s music pioneers, while the Mexican-American Cultural Center stands nearby in the Rainey Street Historic District.
Just down the street are delicious venues like Bufalina Pizza, Launderette, La Barbecue, Oseyo or Kemuri Tatsu-Ya. Other spots include coffee at Lou’s or Flat Track, cold beer at Blue Owl Brewing or East Side Tavern, cocktails at High Noon and so much more.
For breakfast (open at 7:00 am) visit Juan in a Million for Tex-Mex and tacos. Or it’s just a short walk to Gati Coffee, Pastries, and Eats, just down the street offering several homemade, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan pastries (even donuts before 10 am). Getting Around:
Navigating Austin from this location is best done by bike. It’s flat as a pancake on this side of town and there are numerous, excellent bike routes including quick access to the Hike and Bike Trail that spans over 18 miles around the Colorado River.
Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ridesharing, micro-mobility, and mass transit are available everywhere.
The airport is just 15 minutes away.

Prior to check-in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival. Pack n Plays or High Chairs must be requested prior to arrival.
Parking enough for 1 car in the driveway, and plenty of curbside parking in front of the house.
No parties and no pets.

HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas requires all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%.
