Wonderful Stay
We all had such a great time at this property. It was a little tricky figuring out the lights at first, but we managed. The house is gorgeous. The sun room was our favorite spot. It was so nice watching the sun come up while drinking a hot cup of coffee, wrapped in a warm blanket on the comfy couch there. My best friend and I enjoyed the spacious kitchen too. We were a bit disappointed that the pool table was missing a few balls, but we still enjoyed ourselves. It was one of the best vacations we have had so far, and we topped it off with a day of fishing at a nearby river and a nice trip to a waterfall. We will be coming back.

Lots of space close to everything!
We had a wonderful stay at this very well appointed house. The decor is a little dated (very 80s) but was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything you needed and a huge island to gather around. There were basically two living rooms to hang out in and a large deck. The location was very central to Boone and Banner Elk. the only negative was that we never could get any of the TVs to work ;).

Great Location but Needs Work
Great Location, unfortunately the house was musty. Not good for allergy sufferers. The king size and twin beds were not comfortable. Knickknacks everywhere which catch dust and increase the risk of something breaking ...be careful if you have small children. Interior was much darker than in the in the pictures. Light fixtures were either too dim or not working. Some pots and pans were pretty scratched up and should be replaced. The washing machine only seemed to work with hot water. Old shower knobs made it difficult to get the correct temperature. Repair work on soft spots on the outside deck is necessary before someone’s foot goes through a deck board. Hard to operate shower knobs could be a problem for children if the water temperature is too hot. Can't say I would recommend it unless these things are corrected.
