This property is in a great location, the rooms are modern and well-appointed. Highlights include a very expansive and efficient breakfast service, ultra-comfortable beds, and a lovely swimming pool and spa area. The location is also very convenient as you're walking distance from the beautiful and convenient Amsterdam Centraal station. This is a great starting off point to explore Amsterdam. The one knock I would give to the neighborhood is that it is highly "touristy", it seems many of the nearby restaurants are aimed at English speaking tourists with generic pizza and hamburger fare; you won't leave your stay feeling you've lived like an authentic Amsterdam native, like you might if you stayed in a boutique bed and breakfast joint. However, prices in Amsterdam for hotels were incredibly high during our stay, and I'm quite sure none offered as much quality as the value as the Park Plaza. The concierges were very eager to help book a day trip and our taxi to the airport. This is a great place to stay in Amsterdam if you don't mind being right in the middle of the busy tourist sector.
