The hotel is well situated for walking around. The room was very small. There was no safe in the room so we had to carry our valuables. The only toiletries were sachets of shampoo. No soap for hand washing! It was ok for one night but glad we didn’t stay longer . The lift is very dangerous because you could easily knock someone downstairs when you open the door.

Basic but great location
This is a very basic hotel in a great location. If refurbished it could be a little gold mine. Breakfast very basic, very steep steeps down to the basement. Anyone with mobility issues could not get down there. The hotel is located in a lovely square just off Las Rambla.

The service and staff at the hotel were fantastic. Kind, helpful, and overall very accommodating. The hotel in it self is so so, but the location is incredible and the rooms were clean and decent. Breakfast is nothing special, but it is a good cup of coffee and a croissant to get you started. With so many restaurants in the area, there is no issue finding another breakfast. Overall a great stay for a night in Barcelona.

Good hotel for a quick stay at Barcelona. My main issue is the noise during the night. As it is really really close to a public space (specially a bar), you can hear a lot of noise while you are trying to sleep

Be weary this hotel is not for the faint of heart. One of the noisiest/busiest placas below and the loudest bar for sure. Getting sleep is difficult and impossible without earplugs. Great location though!

We liked the location but the facility services were poor. There was no soap, hair dryer, or conditioner. The mattress was thin and needs to be replaced. We did like that we were staying in an old spanish building, but the room facilities need to be updated. The room was however nice and clean.

The hotel rooms are a bit small and the beds are old. But the building takes you back to old Spain, especially the cave underground where we ate breakfast. The Hotel is on a large plaza off of Las Ramblas Street where all the action is happening. The staff were great, especially Kenneth at the front desk. The prices were very reasonable. I would stay here again.

Great location but very basic property. Room had 18” Tv, double bed and two nightstands. Small tub with shower. No safe and no windows. Main caution is our room was incredibly noisy. You could clearly hear every conversation in the surrounding rooms Definitely not for those who are sensitive to noise but a great location close to La Rambla and lots of good restaurants
