I never stayed one nite out of my nites reserved. The room smelled like cigarette smoke (even though, there were “no smoking” signs.) I ended up staying elsewhere. The sheets had hair in them when I went to check the quality of the condition of the room on the day of check in. The staff was super courteous and kind upon check in! Very sweet people just doing their job and doing it well. I chose this establishment on price reflection. You get what you pay for…. I’ll know better next time. I don’t mind cheap motels/hotels, but, the sheets need to be clean! And, if it’s advertised as a NO SMOKING environment, I expect to have that honored! It’s an old building and I didn’t expect luxury for the price. But, that being said, I’ll NEVER recommend this place to anyone and I’ll never book here again. I made the reservations through Expedia and couldn’t get my money back due to that. I drove there to return the key and told the nice young man that I never did use the room. He was apologetic and that was that. I really detest giving unsavory views of a place as I am always trying to be kind and positive. I don’t want to soil a business by posting anything negative. But…. Icky poo! The staff was lovely. They get 5 stars.

Love the place, but you can’t escape the cigarette smell. Very nice staff and clean room just very overpowering odor that seeps into your clothes. Had to leave our duffel bag in the car, and we even had a nonsmoking room. Other than that great stay!

The owner is a hypocrite and very nasty
I really hate to have to leave negative reviews. But in this case, I need to. A housekeeper there tried to accuse me of sexual misconduct which spoiled the rest of my stay. The owner Ms. Moon never apologized, but expected me to apologize for cursing her out. She ended up kicking me out for letting a homeless guy use my shower. she really has no compassion or love for her job.

This is an older hotel that should have been priced lower. Smoking inside local establishments is outlawed in WA state. This hotel had smoking rooms and I was given one. The smell was terrible and the overall condition of my room seemed run down and dirty.

Ok. So the positive. The staff were friendly. That counts for a lot in my book. And then the bad side. there are reviews talking about the snell. There is no way to express how bad it is. We kept our window open all night. Even during a wind storm the room reeked. I bought air freshener but I wasn’t able to even mask it. It hit you like a wall as you walked into the room. It was like old wine soaked cigarette buts. We were in town for parents weekend so we didn’t stay in the room other than to sleep but it really was ridiculous. We just got home and all of our clothes reek. Idk what that smell was. But it was striking. But again the staff were friendly.
