Great, but no air, no windows. Stay here in winter

Here is why I gave it a middling review. There is no air conditioning and there are no windows. The only way to get any air is to leave your balcony door open. In our case we had a first floor room directly on a busy sidewalk. We were offered a fan, but it would not have done much good, just blowing around the stale air in the room. Otherwise, this was a great hotel, but I would only stay here in the winter.

Great place to stay for 2 weeks

The Waveboard is a great place to stay if you are in the area for more than a couple of days. The apartment style of the room was perfect for space and comfort. The team on reception we excellent at helping and really welcoming. Jamal was especially good and even allowed me to use his mobile number to rent a bike. Although the hotel is not in the center of the old city the selection of restaurants in the area was good and there were a couple of small bars I enjoyed. I am going back to Potsdam in 2 weeks and will definitely stay at the Waveboard again.

Staff were very helpful but as the reception is not manned after 8 pm., a late check in will be a bit of a problem. Nice place but we were on the ground floor and as there were no sheer curtains or tinted glass, there wasn't much privacy. We also had a group of young people sitting on the outdoor seating area of the apartment playing loud music and smoking while waiting to go tot eh theatre which is in the same area. Other than that, everything else about the apartment was good.

Die Lage war perfekt, ziemlich mittig zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal hilfreich und freundlich. Ich würde die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.

Super für Familien

Wir waren mit 6Erwachsenen und 2Kindern in diesem wundervollen Hotel. Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer war gigantisch. Das Hotel sehr stylisch und die Umgebung super schön. Die Lage ist optimal, kleine Restaurants sind in der Nähe und es angenehm ruhig. Die Schiebetüren im Appartment sind hellhörig, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.
