Bad. Terrible. Fail. Awful.
Fire alarms went off several times between 2-4 am. Ultimately we had to be evacuated. Fire Marshal noted that the alarms had been malfunctioning for several weeks. There was only one employee for the entire hotel, who was (despite heroic efforts) clearly overwhelmed. No manager arrived to help or answered repeated calls. Neither did IHG's internal team for finding alternative accommodations. At 4am -- far from home, with no car -- I had to find my own alternative accommodations. No one from the hotel has followed: not to apologize, explain. I wonder if anyone even refunded my room cost? We'll find out...

For being so close to a major road and lots of shops and strip malls, the hotel was very peaceful. The bedding showed signs of wear, but the room was clean and the level of lighting was great. However, only one elevator was in operation during the three days I was there.

The front desk was under construction and loud jackhammering while trying to communicate with the front desk staff. The gym was large with a significant number of equipment options. Nice to have water available in the lobby and dispensers next to the ice machines in the hallways.

The hotel charged me $65.21 more then expedia's quote. I did not receivea receipt. No explaination for higher charge. The hotel has two elevators and one was no working when l checked in. They put me on the seventh floor and the second elevator broke while we were there. I had to walk up the stairs twice and down once. My feet were hurting after a day of walking in D.C. the clerk said l would get accomadated but the manager never called me. Worst experience after two weeks of staying in hotels. There is no microwave in the room.

My room was extremely nasty, the sheets was ripped and had stain so i had to ask for a new one, the floor was dirty which i thought was just stain however the next morning when the room got cleaned the dirt was removed so it seems that our room had not been mopped prior to us receiving it. And there was hair on the walls in the tub.
