The Marriott Long Wharf is reasonably priced by comparison, excellent facilities and super convenient to the freedom trail and dining. Recommended.

The staff knew the pool was not available, they did not update online bookings. When asked about they said the info can't be posted immediately. They informed us at check in regarding the pool and said it would be available at 6am, we checked at 7 still not ready. When you have small children looking forward to the pool it's sad, they offered another hotels pool but it's to much to travel with the little ones

Great place to stay in boston.

The hotel was really nice. The convenience of the location, the snacks and room service was awesome. Super close to the acquarium and quincy market,and great places to eat. Small issue was pool closed on sunday for maintenance, but we worked around it. Only negative thing i would say is, one of the valet afge dants was rather rude, and made it sound like i was creating an issue for him because i forgot some things from the car. But I dont blame the hotel for that. All in all i would definitely stay again.

We come to the north need a lot . Upon arrival we were greeted by the valet attendant . He was so nice let us know how long we could keep our car parked the next day . Sometimes the little things make the difference

I have a few concerns/complaints. After I checked in, I was then told that there is a $30 destination fee. I was never told about that while booking or before completing my check in. Hi then come to find out that’s not universally done even in Maria chains. Let alone other hotels in the vicinity. In addition, I was surprised that Wi-Fi was not included. In fact, it was nearly a $17 charge per day. That’s ridiculous. I could use my cell phone in common areas unsecured. But in the bedrooms you had to pay extra. Not customer friendly. Should really rethink this. Also I had an event in Boston. I was attending and got back to the hotel after 11. And the bar closes at midnight. On a Saturday night in a major city? also not customer friendly. please rethink that as well.

So my family and I were excited to visit the city and stay at this particular Marriott since it was located right in downtown near exhibits. We decided to spend extra and get an executive suite which seemed great. Fast forward to our arrival and we’re told the only suite that was left was a “handicapped” suite and that was our only choice. Absolutely ridiculous. Staff was extremely unapologetic basically giving the impression, “you don’t like it, you can leave……” This suite was not inexpensive. You might think, “is there a big difference between this and a regular suite?” Trust me, there is. Imagine bringing your beautiful dress and tuxedo for a great time on the town and there’s not one place in the entire suite to hang your clothes? Everything is set up for a person in a wheelchair. No doors on the shower. A folding bench in the shower. Honestly, it felt more like a hospital room than a luxury suite. When I went down to the check in afterwards to speak with staff or the manager I was met with blank stares and the same attitude as when we checked in. While I had hoped for some consideration in the fact that we had pre-booked this suite weeks earlier I was met with the feeling that it was my fault. We ended up making the most of the time we had, but I would not go back to this particular Marriott given the experience that I had with my family. Certainly not worth the money that we paid.
