The staff were absolutely incredible. From check in to check out. Particularly Kayla who took a vetted interest in not only our stay but every guest we saw her interact with. I wont stay anywhere else on future visits to Salem

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The location on Essex is great and walkable to all the sights— that’s what you’re paying a premium for. All three concierges we interacted with, plus the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very small— $900 a night was ridiculously overpriced for it, but that is the market during events and October. I would stay here again, but only if the rates were more reasonable. This is the most per square footage I think I’ve ever paid 😂
It was a nice place. The entrance through a cafe was a bit different and no parking was also. Make sure you pack light and be prepared to walk a bit with your luggage. There is parking close by, the rooms were amazing and the staff was amazing! You are right in the heart of Essex street and easy walking distance to just about everything.

Bathroom/ shower did not have a door had a semi see through glass door no privacy and did not close completely also shower was cold water, however the location of the Hotel was walking distance to all events which was a plus, staff was friendly and professional
Great location, walk to everything & they have their own dining on site including a nice rooftop bar (the only rooftop bar in Salem). Honestly the only down sides are the cost is really high considering it’s still the ‘off season’, there are more affordable options if walkability isn’t an issue for you. My room was relatively clean however since it was a ‘micro’ room it seems people that have stayed before me used the large window sill to put their various beverages leaving multiple stains along the window. If they aren’t diligent about cleaning this I can’t imagine what else they may overlook in cleaning. I would stay here again if I was splitting the cost with someone and we needed to be downtown, otherwise I would probably do an AirBnB. Salem is definitely worth the visit, wish I had more time there.
The property was showing it's age and use. The bathroom right by the reception desk was very dirty and need some updating. Up in our room, the three trash cans were all together by the windows, no wash clothes, and we had candy opened left on the carpet under the desk.
The location was right in the heart of everything Salem and we walked everywhere. The staff was delightful. The room itself could use some updating and the curtains were broken.
Clean boutique hotel. Room clean and styled nice. But small. Hotel roof top bar nice. Hotel advertises parking available, but note that parking is not on site..it is either street or public lot/garage. Parking made check in and out a bit inconvenient.
