The situation is impressive and so are the hotel's grand salons. The view from our large room was beautiful and in general the food and service were very good. Disappointingly, CNN was the only available English-speaking channel on the room TV. Also, since Covid is again on the increase, it was surprising that more measures weren't in place (e.g., the same buffet utensils were used by all guests, few guests appeared to use hand sanitizer when entering the dining areas, and very few staff or guests wore masks).

Es gibt wohl kaum einen schöneren Ort auf dieser Welt. Man fühlt sich zurückgesetzt in eine frühere Zeit.

Ein Hotel, wie es dergleichen heute fast gar nicht mehr gibt. Wunderbare, stilvolle Aufenthaltsräume, herrliche Aussicht, freundliches Personal - wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke!
