The bathroom tiles need a damn good scrubbing. The shower grout is rather discoloured. Around the bathroom sink area the tops of the tiles are dusty. I have stayed in some crap places but that was to be expected because they were dirt cheap. This was $230 for a bed for the night. Oh ok a shower too. And as for the layout of the damn place, holy hell. What a mess. I hope I never find myself in that place ever again. The only positive thing was that it was a ten minute walk to the venue for my friend's birthday.

Property was great and great location for the Gabba, however I won't be booking with Wotif again. I initially booked the room and it seemed to be a good price compared to other rooms around, however the site was misleading for their cancellation policy. After I realised that my booking payment was non-refundable and had already been taken from my credit card, I contacted WOTIF and they refused to amend the booking and change it to a cancellable booking blaming the hotel. I contacted the hotel and they informed me that they did not receive the money until our stay, so this was just a lie. Accommodation was actually 1/3 price with another booking company for same date. What a rip-off!

Great location and helpful staff. We stayed in172B for 3 nights and the drains are a bit smelly. Also the curtain above the TV needs hanging properly. A microwave safe cooking container with a lid would be very useful. The bed was very comfy. A second small bedside table or shelf would be useful.

We found this location convenient and close to Southbank, QPAC, pubs, eateries, shops, and sporting venues. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, and although the shower was a bit old, it worked well. Overall, we will definitely be back.

The tv in our original room we were given did not work. Receptionist came to room to try and assist, it didn’t work for her and we were told there’s nothing she can do. After my friend followed up this response with her, she offered a new room which was an upgrade. Much more spacious, we were appreciative for this. The elevator in the building is so incredibly slow! The apartments are based in excellent location!

We initially encountered an issue with our first room, which had an unpleasant odour of sewerage. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in resolving the situation, promptly relocating us and offering a complimentary upgrade to a 1-bedroom apartment instead of the 1-bedroom studio we had booked. The apartment was significantly more spacious and comfortable, and I would highly recommend opting for the 1-bedroom apartment over the studio for the extra room. The only minor downside was the slow lift, as only one was available, which could be an inconvenience during peak times. However, the location was excellent, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, and just a short walk to the Gabba busway, making transport to the city and other areas very convenient. Additionally, the underground secure parking was a great feature for added peace of mind. Overall, we appreciated the great customer service and enjoyed our stay!

Not my favourite experience, there were marks on the walls of the bedroom that appeared to be blood, stains on the carpet in multiple locations, there was broken coat hanger in the wardrobe, hair on the comforters, ‘king bed’ is two singles pushed together so there’s a stiff line down the middle, the balcony hadn’t been swept properly. The staff were lovely. Navigating the carpark was a nightmare, most of the elevators are revolving doors. 2/5
