A basic and unpretentious hotel (personally, I don’t need luxury) with an unbeatable location. The best part is that: the location and the absolutely friendly and charming front desk staff. The room: has what you need, a bed and a bathroom with a good shower. Adequate breakfast. You can have an affordable and hearty breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore. Absolutely recommendable! Un hotel básico y sin lujos( personalmente no los necesito)con inmejorable ubicación. Lo mejor es eso: la ubicación y las personas de front desk absolutamente amables, encantadoras. La habitación: con lo que necesitas, cama y baño con buena ducha. puedes tomar un desayuno abundante antes de salir a pasear. Absolutamente recomendable!

Great location, nice sized room. Staff was great. Room needed some maintenance attention (toilet ran, shower drained slow, water leak marks on ceiling). Breakfast was only average compared to other stops on this trip.

The cleaning of the room needs to be taken care of. More amenities needs to be added. Otherwise the hotel has a perfect location, rooms are good. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

The VIP '2 drinks on arrival' didn't eventuate. I was told that the 'free drink' was a bottle of water, and we only received one. I did request an upgrade and a room with a queen bed rather than 2 singles pushed together was offered. Other than the poor 'VIP' offer, the hotel is really nice and the breakfast is very good. The area is very central to the train station and made a good base for walking Brussels and for day trips to Bruges and Ghent. I'd stay here again.

No thermostat in the room
No thermostat in the room. Heating air system was not working. They did provide a stand up fan it did not help. The toilet would not flush correctly lid was for a square toilet the one in the room was round. Very dated. People at desk very friendly.
