The hotel's location is amazing. We got a room facing the Fisherman's Bastion and we happened to see the most beautiful sunrise in the room. Service is great too.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Pest district. Service throughout our stay was impeccable with one tiny exception in the hotel bar where we got overcharged for two drinks (12,660HUF for an eggnog and Irish coffee). All staff were pleasant and helpful and the ambience of the hotel was stunning. A better selection of TV channels in rooms would be helpful as very little choice of viewing in English.

The Hilton in Budapest was amazing. The staff and the room were excellent and definitely met our expectations. The hotel is also situated in a very convenient location with stunning views. The only negative comment I have to say about this hotel is that when I called the staff prior to my arrival they informed me that there was no parking and that the garage was full. After calling about two more times and being persistent, I decided to try a different approach and asked them if they could valet my car, where I was told yes, but to call back in a few minutes while they verified if there was an additional space for my car. Later I called them back, and to my surprise they finally said yes. When arriving to the hotel, I decided to park my own vehicle in the garage which was quite empty…

Nice hotel, the receptionist was not welcoming
The receptionist at checkin was not welcoming, apparently no one taught her how to smile. I asked to check if I can stay for an additional night. She checked, but the price was 15 USD higher than my budget. I asked if something can be done and she simply said "no". I can except "no", but I would expect for at least some effort from het side, like speaking with manager or something, but she was cold as ice during the whole checkin. It made me feel unwelcome.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and modern. Service is excellent. The views to the Budapest Parliament are breathtaking. Personnel is so respectful and educated. I would definitely recommend this hotel and for sure will come back.

Built in the heart of the Buda district there is a lot to see. Because it is in this district the prices of things are on the higher side. An example the closest chimney cake vendor wants 20 euros for one. Crazy. The hotel itself was very nice and we had good sleeps in our 6th floor room. Only complaint is I am still waiting for them to cancel my room deposit. If that’s the worst I can say, it has been an excellent stay. Thank you Hilton Budapest.
