Excellent start for the price!

Great Location for Wedding In Buena Vista

Was a wonderful place to stay while we attended a wedding in Buena Vista. It was so nice to see the mountain peaks and the deer coming down the valley each evening. Quiet, peaceful, and a great experience! Thanks so much!

Buena Vista Trip

House listing was as stated, well stocked and very comfortable. The views surrounding the property were absolutely stunning. Mountains pretty much 360°. The town of Buena Vista was a awesome little town, so many places to eat and drink. Hiking and fishing was a blast. Definitely would stay here agian. Dave S.

Peaceful Property

Great place for a family. Everyone had their own space. Beautiful views from every window. Loved eating on the deck protected from the wind. Wonderfully stocked kitchen which was a comfort to cook in as a family. Had everything anyone could need.

We were very pleased with the property and it afforded us all the room we needed for 3 couples. There was an abundance of cookware, plates and utensils, if necessary. We had a very pleasant visit with the host who was more than willing to make our stay comforable. We will hope to return to this property if and when we are back in the area.

Weekend getaway

This property was very warming and in a great location. Spent the weekend with some family there while shopping and hitting the Cottonwood hot springs. We plan to stay again in this house as we get out there at least twice a year!!!

Place of rest

We were please with the location, only 9 minutes from Buena Vista . Truly a place of rest and calm away from the rush of life. We were able to watch our 3 grandchildren while our daughter in law had her 4th child giving her time to rest and bond with her newborn . Our grandchildren loved chasing the rabbit and watching the blue birds . There were board games available which we played. The beds were comfortable. THe views of the open fields helped to reflect on God's Serenity and goodness which I think the owners want you to experience.

Valley home surrounded by Collegiate Peaks

This house was in a very quiet high meadow surrounded by the Collegiate Peaks. We stayed 2 nights so that 3 of us could hike Mt. Harvard. It was the perfect location close to the trailhead. Easy check-in, clean and wonderful supply of coffee and Smores available.

Fantastic views in a great location!

Great location with fantastic 360 degree mountain views. Two decks made for great peak viewing both morning and evening. Very roomy house with a well equipped kitchen made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Easy access into town and a variety of hiking trails. Nice audio visual system. Surface clean with a few items that could use a little touch up. A few window blinds in need of repair. Could use a couple additional kitchen towels. The views are truly spectacular. Would stay again for a future visit to the area.

Peaceful tranquility!

This house is so peaceful and quiet. You feel like you are the only ones in the world it is so relaxing. Setting out side by the fire pit enjoying the beautiful mountain backdrop is amazing.

Beautiful view needs some updates

Gorgeous views. Private. I’d offer a few suggestions: upgrade the mattresses, pillows and bedding. The comforter wasn’t really clean. And the pillows were old and worn out. No kitchen dish cloths to be found. I’d suggest upgrading to matching bath towels rather than just random items. There were 6 adults and enough hot water or warm water for about 3 of us. The listing and welcome notes mentioned “sweet treats of s’mores” but no sticks for roasting marshmallows to be had. And the s’mores stuff and coffee mentioned was tucked in a corner cabinet. Some opened already. Plenty of laundry detergent and it was nice to have an on-site laundry. Good WiFi. Plenty of parking. The listing said circle drive but we didn’t see it. The welcome book also mentioned 3 keys. We only found one key. Fully stocked kitchen including spices, pans and utensils. Dishwasher was handy as well. Overall the property was fine. Updates needed. Clean enough. Spacious enough.
