The thing that strikes me is the cleanliness which somewhat makes up for the fact that the furniture and decor in the rooms need updating ….. reflected in the price. The buffet breakfast was very good.

Great location, secure parking, good restaurant for evening meal and lovely buffet breakfast. Being an older property there weren’t any USB ports, and mattress was bit saggy on one side. Recommend for short stay in Canberra.

From check in through to check out, the staff at The Pavilion made us feel like welcomed and valued guests. The room was lovely, spacious, modern and comfortable. The food from the restaurant was delicious and served very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent rooms and staff, good food down in the Atrium Restaurant, and easy to travel deeper into the city with easy access to the Tram line (2-3 minute walk, then you can link to busses etc further on). 24/7 reception means you can go do things whenever, without worrying about being locked out or anything. Can certainly see why it has such a high rating.

The room was not in good condition: tiles were broken and loose, there were rusty shelves in the bathroom, the carpet had a bad smell, the air conditioning system was outdated, and the air extraction system in the bathroom was not working.

Loved the internal garden with seating and bar. We ate at the restaurant and although the staff were lovely,the meals unfortunately did not live up to expectations: the ribs and middle eastern salad were bland, the chicken dry and chewy. The eton mess desert however was delicious.Breakfast was fine.I would stay here again.

The open indoor area is unique and gives a beautiful ambience. Staff were good and helpful. Most things were excellent. The only downside was a malfunctioning toilet flush that would not automatically turn off. Needed some better maintenance. Only one specific detail, but an important one.

Good hotel in a great location. The rooms are not new, but they are clean and comfortable. The interior of the hotel is nicer than you expect when looking outside. Free parking on site, which is very convenient.
