Several things broken!
First, there were several things that did not work, parts of the house had no electricity to it. The bath tube was clogged with hair, and we had to plunge it and pull the hair out..:.GROSSS! The toilet was messing up when you would flush it, we fixed that too. The vent was filthy, loos as though it had never been cleaned. Second, the owner responded for the most part until we sent a message asking for some type of compensation for all the trouble we went through the first night. It wasn’t a bad house but, management definitely needs to do a better job of keeping up with the house.

We saw deer every day. We had one that we were able to hand feed!! Very nice home. We had everything we needed. Good communication from the owner. Very quiet neighborhood.

The refrigerator isn't keeping things very cold, the bunk beds are very unsteady and worn out and the mattress on the bittom bunk is not comfortable at all.

Great place.
Enjoyed this place, it was perfect for our family. Would’ve liked to see the back yard mowed and suggest supplying a good broom to sweep the leaves off of the sidewalk to keep from tracking into the house. All minor issues and would definitely book it again.

Good house
Reservation and checkin went easy. They accommodated an early checkin for us also with no problem. A water main broke in the neighborhood, leaving us without any running water for about 10 hrs. Property manager was kind and helpful and prompt to call the city. Loved the front porch and yard. Bring food for the deer, or they will be after yours if you sit out there. :)

I rented this place for a group of friends so we could go float the river and explore canyon lake. The house was absolute gorgeous and had everything we needed and more. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had about the house and the surrounding areas (nearby stores, attractions, etc). Check in/out was quick easy and they accommodated us with our last minute request for a later checkout. We will definitely be coming back.

Ladies' Weekend
Six friends and I got together to celebrate my birthday. The house was very comfortable and spacious for 7 adults. Canyon Lake is very close to Gruene and Wimberly which we both visited. We fell in love with all the deer walking around the area. Our only complaint would be the fish smell in the refrigerator. It was clean/spotless but we smelled fish every time we opened the door. Otherwise, a lovely house and a lovely weekend!

Absolutely perfect. The only drawback was the fishy smell in the fridge. We started calling it the refisherator. But this is a lake house and to be expected. It was nothing compared to how comfy the home was, the comfortable beds, the plush carpet, how well stocked everything was. And there were deer that passed through often. Made it so above anyplace else I could have stayed. Large and inviting, the home served as a lovely location for our time there for a week and a half. My daughter and I both found it to be so beautiful and relaxing. We sat out on the front porch many evenings as the sun would go down and look out at the lake. You just won't believe this place- complete with Kenmore and Bosch appliances, even a stand mixer and many other kitchen appliances. You truly won't need anything else. Lots of dishes, plastic ware, plenty of utensils, cutlery, wine glasses, you name it. There are games, a large TV, one in the master, lots of channels, and surprisingly good internet. Even extra blankets for cold nights. This is a very special place, one I would gladly return to.

Love this property!
Location:perfect! View: beautiful! House: love it! This was our second time to stay at this property. The only disappointment was not anything to do with the house; however, we were a bit disappointed by several cleaning issues: frig smelled very strong of old fish, several tables had not been dusted in some time, I picked up a couple pieces of trash off the floor that should have gotten picked up by vacuuming, and only one roll of toilet paper was left for each toilet. These were all things we could and did remedy quickly, but if I were the owner, (seeing that everything the owner supplied was impeccable) I’d have a talk with the cleaning crew. Those are very easily fixed with minimal attention to detail. We’d love to go back to the property, so much so that if the house ever gets on the market, we’d look seriously at purchasing it!
