The Space:
This 2nd-floor unit boasts amazing lake views and the relaxing sounds of the Carolina Beach surf.
Out on the master bedroom balcony, you can relax and watch stunning sunsets over the lake.
Tile and hardwood floors with throw rugs are throughout the space.
There is a large living room with a pull-out couch and a Roku smart TV. So bring your Netflix/Hulu/Prime passwords with you!
The kitchen is ample and well-equipped with a bar that seats 3 and a dining table that seats 4.
1 queen bedroom, bunk bed room and the queen pull sofa bed in common area allow the home to sleep a total of 6.
The large attached deck also gives you a peak of the ocean between the homes in front of you.

The property manager was extremely helpful. The locks in the sliding doors did not work and we had to get a piece of wood to wedge on the back of the door. There was a hole in the bedroom ceiling, the bathroom was not clean, the pictures were not accurate. If it wasn’t late when I got there I would have left. I wouldn’t stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Great lake view
We only stayed for a short time but it seemed like a prime location area! While our trip was not focused on being a beach getaway, it was a very short distance walk to the public access to the beach. We did get to walk out and enjoy the beach one evening after 5pm and it was perfect. We enjoyed the balcony that overlooks the lake area more so than the partial ocean view back deck. It should be noted that there is no elevator and is up 3 flights of stairs. This was no problem for us, but worth knowing for other renters. The space itself was clean but is a basic, no frills space. While the decor is minimal and dated, I’d rather know I had a clean space to stay in, and this condo did deliver that. So, overall I rate this a nice place to stay if you are just looking for a basic, clean space.

Loved the location, within walking distance to beach access and Carolina Beach Boardwalk and lots of restaurants. Small, cozy, not too many frills but don’t need them when you’re at the beach! Already planning to stay again next year!

Perfect for us!
Loved the ease of check in and check out and the place was very clean. Perfect size for us and our two teen daughters and perfect distance from the beach. The outdoor showers were some of the best I’ve seen as well! Very accommodating property management and everything was as expected. Will stay again!

For Carolina Beach, the location was great. 2 min walk from beach & 12 min walk to boardwalk / downtown. The condo inside was OK. A little dirty in some areas like closets & a few broken things like our towel rack in our bathroom & the back deck light. Plus the main room couch had an ugly burn on the right arm. Looked like a cigarette burn to be honest. The queen size bed we slept on was not the best either. I’d recommend bringing a mattress cover. I did try reaching out to our host a week before our stay but I never heard from them. I did get texts from an automated system about my stay 2-3 days before we arrived, but never from our host. We’re a family of 6 so we utilized the whole condo; the bed, the bunk beds & the pull out sofa. We were grateful for the condo and overall give it an OK rating.

I wouldn’t recommend renting this property because there is a huge lack of communication with Carolina Stays. I had a hard time getting to talk to a person and multiple times I didn’t receive a return call when I left a message. When I arrived at the rental things seemed ok until we realized the toilet wouldn’t flush, there were bugs on the kitchen counter and the bed in the bedroom was different (smaller) than what was pictured. While talking with VRBO about the issues someone was trying to call me but I didn’t recognize the name or number that showed up so I didn’t answer it. Turns out it was the building manager, Brian who not only called but apparently was knocking on the door multiple times. If I didn’t expect a phone call from you or a visit from you, then I’m not going to answer my phone or answer the door, that’s just how I am. After getting our things out of the rental and heading towards the car, I noticed someone behind me who followed me to my car, and finally introduced himself as Brian the building manager. He wanted to know what was going on and I told him that I was not going to speak with him in the parking lot while trying to put my things in my car. I think it was very inappropriate for him to approach me the way he did. Overall, it was just a horrible experience and I ended up staying in a hotel.

Couldn't have been happier
This was an amazing location! Everything we like and go to was just a few minutes walk away. The beach, restaurants, squiggles(our three daughters favorite ice cream spot), the market open on Saturday mornings, and the ferris wheel. 606 2B was nice, clean, and well stocked with all the necessaties. Would recommend and can't wait to return. Thank you for having us.

This older condominium unit was clean, very well furnished and just what we were looking for. Close to ocean and Carolina Beach Lake. Nice view of Carolina Beach lake from main bedroom balcony. Walking distance to restaurants and awesome market across the street with coffee, wine and a good selection of foods.

This property is located one row off the beach and directly across from the lake. It is about a 2-3 minute walk to the public beach access. The unit has been partially renovated. It is obvious the flooring, ceiling, and some bedroom furniture has been updated. However, the living room furniture, the bathrooms, the kitchen, and the sliding doors, especially the one in the main bedroom need to be remodeled/replaced/updated. We had a terrible storm one night and I woke up to water dripping in two different spots from the sliding door in the bedroom. The en-suite bathroom needs to be redone. The shower head would not work and I waited at least 24 hours before someone came to fix it. I took one shower in that shower and it was obvious it was clogged. My biggest pet peeve is to stand in water while taking a shower. I didn’t bother reaching out to the property manager at this point and we all just used the other shower. The other bathroom is interesting....there is a small room/closet with a stand up shower and another down the hall with the toilet and sink. Odd set up but glad we had two bathrooms. The sofa has what looked like a cigarette burn and the unit had a stale cigarette smell. The microwave looked like it was going to fall off the wall and I decided for our short stay I was not going to cook in that kitchen or use any of the kitchen utensils, plates, cups, etc. Nothing appeared very clean and I didn’t want to spend my time washing. I am thankful there was a washer and dryer for this unit, although it’s a bit dated it did work. There are cords for the TV/Roku/internet that are exposed and run across the top of the wall/ceiling. Parking was very tight. This unit is in a great location but it has lots of needed repairs, updates, and remodeling!!!

We were pleasantly surprised by all this property had to offer. It was clean and spacious for our family of 5. I did expect it to be so equipped, all the little things you forget to pack were provided right down to coffee filters. It was quiet and relaxing and soo close to the beach and boardwalk. The outdoor showers were great for the kids. I wouldn’t use it myself because it is open on the top with windows looking right down but good enough to wash my feet off. We would definitely stay again.

So many things didn’t work. WiFi code was wrong—no help. Combo to door didn’t work—fixed as we were about to check out. Front of micro hang in pieces. Dryer works if you use a pair of pliers. A 3” live cockroach was in the shower!!!! Called maintenance & property mgr & it took 1 1/2 days for them to show up. The hide a bed doesn’t have a mattress. It is coil springs & wires poke they sheets & wake u up. Shower is in a closet. Toilet is in another closet. Please don’t get mislead like we did. This is bad bad bad!!!Plus you have a list of to dos for check out or you are fined $50.
