Start off the front desk staff was amazing! Young woman there who knew all about the entertainment venues, best places to dine out, and went out of her way to be helpful in any way possible. Kudos to her! Our room sadly was one of the select few that did not have A/C, which for a rainy and muggy day made for an interesting stay. Luckily fans in the room and tiny windows we could open, yet sadly the relative comfort in the room changed very little. Room we had was not toddler friendly, the steam heater was easily turned on by baby hands and heated up very quickly, glass on table tops shifted with the slightest pressure (dangerous for even adults if you're unbalanced/elderly), and the floor tiles in the bathroom could use securing down and grouted again, baby fingers loved touching them. All in all I would give the place 4/5 based upon location, service from the staff, and quietness. However if judging based upon the room and value for the price paid, 3/5 if that.
Rooms: From reading the signage several rooms on the front facing portion do not have A/C. Hotel has been updated but could use some hefty work for kid friendliness and safety, as well as overall comfort for those staying in the rooms. If I had looked the hotel over beforehand and could have selected a room it would not have been the one we had for several reasons. Nearby activities: You're in the middle of town but not IN the heart of all the noise. Good view of the Rock of Cashel and easily walk to where you'd like
