Very LOUD, Not Super Convenient
Cute house and for the most part clean, but the neighborhood is VERY LOUD!!! We didn't sleep at all while we were there. Sirens all night from the ambulances (hospital is nearby), police car sirens buzzing past on the road next to the house, you can hear the guests all around you partying all night and we could hear the folks upstairs walking around. The house was pretty clean, except for the couch. The couch had some dog/cat hair on it and it smelled as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Same with the porch swing. Also, the handle on the toilet was totally broken upon arrival so we had to wait a day for the maintenance folks to come fix it. It was fixed, but not great. Shower water pressure so so. Internet/cable lines came down in the storm so we couldn't get out of the parking lot. Since it was the weekend, it wasn't fixed by the time we left and we had to jump a curb to get out. The property managers were easy to communicate with, but you just don't want to have any issues when you are on vacation. Also, it is quite a bit of a walk to any decent restaurants or shops. We thought there were more coffee shops and nicer places on Spring St., but it was about a 25-50 minute walk to any of the places we were going. This may be a great place for younger folks wanting to party, but not so much for adults wanting to enjoy a good night's rest, shopping and dining in Charleston.

Okay stay Duvet
Old buildings have wonderful history but are sometimes hard to manage for the elderly or handicap. The concierge was very helpful though.

Overall great property
Very clean, nice location, the only suggestion/issue was there was no way to hang out in a small group on the couch. The dining table takes up a lot of space and felt it would be better served to have a much smaller table with a bigger couch so we could relax and converse.

Historic home
Booking was easy. The apartment was very clean. Loved the porch great place to relax after whirlwind days of sightseeing. It is a historic home the walls are not insulated and the noise from other guests carries. You hear people up and down the steps at all hours and toilet flushing. The location was very good. Restaurants and bars and boutiques within 1.5 miles. I would probably choose this home again.

Great location
Very convenient location. Walked to most everything. Charleston City Market less than 2 miles away. Lots of mirrors in the house. Easy to get dressed and apply makeup in the bedroom and free up the bathroom for someone else to shower. It’s the little things...

Charleston Jewel
Suite was close to downtown, food and attractions. Side porch was relaxing and enjoyable, it allow the ambience of time gone by to be experienced. There was some noise on Sunday due to the Trauma Center, but the rest of the stay was quiet. The Suite was clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful unit but noisy location
Spacious two bedroom that is well appointed. Kitchen counters had not been wiped down but, more importantly, I found it hard to sleep through the night. The rental was located by a noisy corner with loud music coming from cars waiting for the light to change. And, something I’ve never encountered before, the unit was about a half block from a hospital trauma unit with a landing pad for medivac helicopters. There were several helicopters landing and taking off each night and they kept me up or woke me up each night with their loud propellers. If you are a sound sleeper you’ll be fine but I was not.

Charming 2 Bedroom Apartment in Downtown Charleston
Super Comfortable 2 Bedroom apartment located within about a 10 minute walk to downtown King Street. The apt. has everything you need to cook your own meals. The beds in the rooms we're extremely comfortable and the apartment was set up so that relaxing between excursions was delightful. The neighborhood felt super friendly and walking around was very safe. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely!
This property was so clean and pretty!! The porch was definitely a wonderful place to spend our mornings and evenings before and after walking around the beautiful city. We walked everywhere! There was a nearby market, coffee shop, and some wonderful restaurants. I would gladly stay here again!
