Stay at Southern Paws! Walk into this quaint, beachy, pet friendly oceanfront single family home and be greeted immediately with views of the ocean. Sip your favorite beverage while watching the waves and listening to the ocean from the screen porch or the open deck. Head to the beach directly from your private boardwalk. Take in ocean views from nearly all interior spaces.

Settle into the 3 comfortable bedrooms, all with queen beds. Two of the three bedrooms are oceanfront, so you'll wake up to the sunrise over the beach. Each bedroom has access to a spacious, full bathroom. Bedroom one and two share the jack and jill bathroom on one side of the home. The second bathroom is a jack and jill between the third bedroom and the laundry room.

As you enter the home, you're greeted with ocean views and the open layout with the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook and serve your family meals. Grill out on the gas grill. Eat at the dining table, or there is additional seating at the kitchen island. Big, comfy furniture allows for relaxation while gazing out on the ocean, or watching the big, flat screen TV. Conveniently located off of the kitchen is a large laundry room with a full size washing machine and dryer.

Choose your outdoor adventure surfing at the Washout, dolphin watching, shelling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing tours from various companies based on Folly Beach. Rent bicycles for an alternate way to travel around the island. Visit the far east end of the island and walk to the Morris Island Lighthouse beach - a favorite among locals and visiting guests! Get unique souvenirs while supporting local businesses at the quaint beach stores, or the Folly Beach Farmers Market and the Art Market, which take place select days of the week during peak seasons and holidays.

Downtown Charleston is only a 25 minute drive away. Enjoy strolling or taking a carriage ride through historic scenery. Charleston offers world-class restaurants, boutique shopping, tours specializing in history, ghosts, and culinary arts, art galleries, souvenir shopping down the Market area, and so much more! Walk along the harbor at The Battery, Waterfront Park, or go off the beaten path to find cobblestone streets and Rainbow Row. Take the kids to the South Carolina Aquarium or the Kids Museum. Several theaters around town host plays, concerts, and comedy shows. There's always plenty to do!

Parking in the driveway can fit up to 3 vehicles. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, outdoor shower, gas grill, central heat and air conditioning. A cornhole set is provided. $250 VayK Gear beach gear credit included with reservations staying 3-14 nights.

Property is strictly non-smoking. Home is pet-friendly with a $125 + tax non-refundable pet fee, per pet, paid directly to the property management company after booking. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. No events or parties allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. A Perfect Thanksgiving
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely stunning beachfront rental! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beachfront rental and I cannot say enough about how amazing it was. The location is simply unbeatable - just steps away from the pristine white sandy beach and ocean waters. The rental itself was impeccably clean, well decorated, and had all the amenities one could possibly need for a perfect vacation. Waking up to the sound of the waves crashing and enjoying breakfast on the screened porch overlooking the ocean was a dream come true. The property managers were incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring that my stay was nothing short of fantastic. I cannot wait to return to this little slice of paradise and would highly recommend this beachfront rental to anyone looking for an unforgettable beach getaway.

This cottage was super cute and a fabulous beachfront location. We did have a few fixable problems. The water in the shower would jump from ice cold to really hot. The TV in the living room had bad reception and while surfaces were clean, the insides of cupboards were not, nor were the closets. All pretty easy fixes for an otherwise charming house.

Great bungalow for a family vacay
We very much enjoyed our stay at this cute oceanfront bungalow! It was just the right amount of space for us, our 2 daughters and their 2 friends. The home came well equipped. The beds may be the most comfortable beds we’ve experienced at a VRBO. The beach is actually closer than the pictures even look. It was great because we could easily keep an eye on the girls on the beach even when we were inside prepping lunch. Management was extremely responsive when we had questions and super friendly. We will definitely be back and we will definitely look to rent from Carolina One again!

Summer trip- my family and I had a wonderful time at Folly Beach beach. The house was the perfect size for me and my family. We also brought the dog along. The house is set on a beautiful location on the beach. Amazing views and steps from the beach. We look forward to going back.

Breath of fresh air…
The house was open, airy, comfortable, bright, and spotless. The view is perfect and the location is fantastic. Carolina One was really responsive to any need we had and very communicative. The screen porch is lovely and the open deck is perfect for star gazing at night. One thing to know is that if you plan to cook while there, you will need your own knives and cutting boards. The only cutting board provided is a slab of granite, which is likely why none of the knives provided could cut anything. There is only one serving bowl. So, it isn’t a well stocked kitchen for cooking, but it has the basics. The path to the beach is in disrepair, so be careful as the boards are curling up and some nails are . raised. The steps to the beach are covered in sand, which can be a little tricky to traverse and not good for elderly guests. Still, it was charming and welcoming,. We loved every minute there and would return.

Recently refurbished and very well equipped, clean. We had a minor maintenance issue that was resolved promptly. Beds were clean and comfortable, even the pillows were good. The walkway to the beach is the only problem with the property, and completely out of character. The walkway boards are severely warped, lose, rusty, and protruding nails abound. There is a well maintained public access point nearby and if you have any mobility issues I highly recommend using the public access.

Perfect beach front cottage
The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It was great in the mornings to get up and look out and see the beach, take morning walks with our dogs and just listen to the waves hit the beach. The walkway to the beach is in need of repair, as well as the stairway to the beach. The place could use a few more "entertaining items"--small bowls for nuts or salsa, cheese and cracker charcuterie boards, etc. Regardless, this place was great and the screened in porch a perfect place to have a glass of wine and read a good book.

Cozy Beach Cottage with a Lovely View
This was the perfect getaway for our family of 4! We wanted a nice, clean home directly on the beach with a view that allowed dogs. It was so awesome that our 2 little dachshunds were able to join us which meant we could stay longer. There’s a lot to love here…the home is super cozy & feels very welcoming. We ended up spending a lot of time there just relaxing & taking it all in, hanging out in the screened porch & on the deck. The home is beautifully updated with modern furnishings throughout. And the view is breathtaking!!! Loved that we could be cooking & see the beach from the kitchen & living area. We walked down to the beach every morning to see the gorgeous sunrise & couldn’t stop taking pictures!!! Folly Beach has a cool, laid back vibe with some really good & quaint restaurants. We liked that Charleston is only 25 minutes away & easy to get to for more dining & shopping options. We had a lovely time & will definitely be back! Thanks again!!! 😊

Our stay at Southern Paws was great! Liked the location towards the end of the isle. It was great staying so close to the local beach bars and close enough to drive into Charleston when we wanted more action. We loved the deck and screened in porch.

Overall disappointed in the property. The house is VERY small for the description and pictures. The bedrooms are extremely cramped and small. If you are traveling with more than 1 family it will not be comfortable. The house constantly shook while we were there. Not sure what was causing that but it was a little unsettling. The dishwasher and refrigerator acted up the entire trip. The boardwalk to the beach had boards that were separating from the foundation and sticking up with rusty nails, be careful when you walk out to the beach. The toilets very easily clog, there was no plunger included in the house. Next to a public beach access, Unfortunately we did contact the realty company and discussed the issues. We were told they would speak with owner and get back to us. I actually called back and they said they would call us back. It's been almost a week since we've been home from our trip and no return call. I should also mention we paid nearly $6,000 for this rental for the week. I expected much more from the house and rental company for the kind of money we paid. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

Disappointing interrupted stay!
Our 30th wedding anniversary vacation was interrupted by unexpected and unannounced workers arriving before 8am. They were on the patio and inside the screened in porch. I can honestly say I have never experienced such rudeness while renting a vacation space. We were so upset that we left early. We were even more upset that the owners never apologized or offered compensation. The house was smaller than we expected and we felt like we were in a double wide. I do not recommend this place or trusting the owners if you want a relaxing vacation.
