The Home Collection provides all the comforts of home, with unmatched design and hospitality. We own over 40 different residences all within 2 miles from downtown Charlotte! Founded by a third generation Charlottean, our mission is to give you an authentic Charlotte experience and offer a range of accommodations including the most-deluxe furnished residences in Charlotte. Welcome home!

We offer discounts for long-term stays, so please ask.

Located in the stately Milton apartment building, this recently refurbished second floor apartment in the desirable and walkable Elizabeth neighborhood. Large double-hung windows let in an abundance of natural light in all rooms. The residence is full of artwork by local artist Nico Amortigui well-known for large-scale paintings and installations throughout NC and The Smithsonian.

Kick back, relax, and enjoy our complimentary snacks and beverages.

In the spacious living room, upholstered furniture provides comfortable seating, a large flatscreen television with both streaming and Hulu Live, and a desk. Ultra-fast Wi-Fi enable business travelers to stay plugged into their busy schedules.

The recently renovated kitchen features with quartz counters and stainless appliances, and is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The adjacent dining room comfortably seats four including all the place settings.

The main bedroom has a king-sized bed with a flatscreen television, and a generous closet (including plenty of clothes hangers, an iron, and ironing board). The second bedroom has a comfortable double bed [with TV?]
The bathroom has modern bath fixtures and tiled walls and floor. Included in our amenity package are Nest toiletries.

An in-unit washer and dryer are provided, along with a starter supply of detergent. Ample storage in the apartment makes it ideal for long-term guests.

Located in historic Elizabeth, our residence is conveniently located a few steps from Hawthorne Avenue, the heart of Charlotte’s health care district. Plaza Midwood and Upton are a short ride away on the streetcar.

This incredibly safe community provides an ideal place for walking or jogging, and you are just a short stroll to Charlotte’s most vibrant nightlife.

Within a half mile walking distance are more than locally owned 40 restaurants (Italian, Mexican, Cajun, and Mediterranean). For breakfast, walk past Starbucks and try Central Coffee or Villani’s Bakery. Our favorite full-service spots include Customshop (local cuisine), Cajun Queen (Louisiana soul food) and Intermezzo (Italian). If you are looking for local gems, check out The People Market, Menya Durama (Ramen), and Moo & Brew (burgers). My favorite BBQ joint is Midwood Smokehouse (but this is a touchy subject in the crossroads of BBQ). Have a beer at Legion Brewery, a drink at the infamous Thirsty Beaver (Mick Jagger’s favorite spot), or a cocktail at the Crunkleton.

On the ‘Plaza Piazza,’ you will find many locally owned shops including antiques, fine gifts, wines, and bespoke clothing for men and women. Elizabeth is also a neighborhood with a vibrant nightlife. If you’re looking for an exciting place to stay in Charlotte, you’ve come to the right place.

Just down the street is Independence Park, Charlotte’s oldest park. This newly renovated park has miles of wide sidewalks, towering trees, a playground, picnic areas, and garden respites.

The parks and open walking spaces make the area perfect for those with a furry friend. Well-behaved, quiet pets are allowed in most of our properties with a pet fee. Many of our neighborhood restaurants have patios that welcome dogs.

We love hosting guests for both short- or long-term stays. So, whether you are here for business, pleasure, or visiting someone, our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay.

A workstation is available for rent during your stay. This includes a two 32” monitors, wireless keyboard, and mouse.

Guest Access:
The entire apartment is yours for your stay and is accessible via keys in a combination lockbox.

Established in 1897, Elizabeth is the second oldest streetcar suburb in Charlotte. Given its close proximity to Upton, Elizabeth became one of the most fashionable residential areas in Charlotte in its early days.

Because much of the neighborhood was developed in the early 20th century, Elizabeth's trees have had time to mature. They now form a canopy over most of Elizabeth's residential streets. In addition, Elizabeth is more pedestrian-friendly than most Charlotte neighborhoods, businesses and residences are in close proximity, and most roads have sidewalks.

One of the many advantages of staying in Elizabeth is its unbeatable location. Situated just minutes away from Uptown Charlotte, you'll have easy access to the city's top attractions, cultural landmarks, and exciting entertainment options. Whether you're catching a game at Bank of America Stadium, immersing yourself in art at the Mint Museum, or exploring the vibrant nightlife of the city center, everything is within reach.
Retreat to your delightful accommodation, where comfort and style blend seamlessly. Unwind in the cozy living space, prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoy a glass of wine on the private patio. Designed with your comfort in mind, your stay offers a tranquil oasis to recharge after a day of exploration.

Experience the captivating allure of Elizabeth, where history meets modernity and where the city's energy intertwines with a sense of tranquility. Book your stay now and discover the unforgettable experiences that await you in this charming neighborhood in the heart of Charlotte.

Getting Around:
The streetcar stop is just a block away, providing easy access to Uptown. Uber/Lyft are also convenient options, and many bikeshare companies offer inexpensive bikes and scooters.

Other Things to Note:
We are a dog friendly home, no cats are allowed in the property. 2 dogs max. Dogs must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.

The apartment is located in the historic Elizabeth neighborhood, one of the nicest, most pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods in the city where generations of prominent Charlotteans have made their home.

There are many locally-owned restaurants and shops within an easy walk, as well as parks and a greenway trail. Enjoy a pleasant 10 minute walk for easy access to uptown by using the Charlotte street car!

We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free check in. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!

Likes : safe, quiet, transportation, walkable, easy parking. Dislikes: The few windows in the apartment that could open only opened 3 to 6 inches, no screens, no fresh air. The check-out time of 10:00am was a problem, 12 or 1pm would be more reasonable especially for international travelers. I spent 6 hours in the airport awaiting my flight.

Unmatched welcoming place!
They kept the original rustic parts of the rooms and combined that perfectly with the modern updates. The apt. has everything you need and then some. The hosts provided more than just a fully stocked apt. The beverages, snacks, fruit and so much more was greatly appreciated. If we have to stay in Charlotte again, this will be our go to place. Thanks for everything!

Rare find in a very historic neighborhood close to many entertainment and dining venues.
This property is a real gem. Not simply a place to stay, but a home away from home in a quiet and historic neighborhood. The unit is extremely well furnished and equipped and is near fine restaurants and entertainment venues. The hosts' attention to details and cleanliness was apparent at every turn. We strongly encourage consideration of this property for your Charlotte lodging needs.

Great stay!
This was a wonderful property with accommodating hosts. My fiancé and I needed somewhere to stay quickly due to work being done at our place. The hosts were very helpful and helped me extend the stay as well. This unit felt like home. It was very clean & neat. Complimentary snacks & cocktails are a great bonus as well! I would definitely recommend booking their properties.
