We've previously stayed at this hotel and at other Staybridge Suites, and this hotel didn't meet my expectations for the brand. The room wasn't properly cleaned (trash under sofa and in closet), they kept running out of food at breakfast, breakfast area wasn't kept clean, they didn't have enough trash bags on hand, and the in-room kitchen wasn't properly equipped. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, a squeaky door was promptly fixed, and they had a nice selection of children's books in the guest library. Not eco-friendly as there was no recycling on-site and breakfast service had single use plastic flatware. My read is that they are trying to have some cost cutting measures at the expense of the guest experience and keeping up with brand standards.

I went through 3 rooms here, with all 3 of them having a significant amount of hair in the bathroom. They don’t clean the floors behind the door, in the first room there was a white substance there as well. The TV remote was sticky and the TV didn’t work. The second room was never cleaned to begin with, so I was transferred to the 3rd room. This room only had a few pieces of hair on the bed and bathroom floor/toilet, so I reluctantly stayed. Now they are saying they won’t refund any of my stay, not even the amount for having to downgrade to a smaller room.

Room was dirty with no shower curtain and sleeper sofa mattress was disgustingly dirty. Furniture was dirty and dusty. Sink was barely usable with a cabinet right above so the faucet was difficult to use. No handsoap just bodywash and unstable handicap seat in bathtub that blocked half the tub. Would not recommend to friends because there are so many other accommodations nearby

Check in was very slow. One person working the front desk. We had just driven 11 hours and our room wasn’t ready. Check in was 4:00 and it was approximately 4:30 and the room wasn’t ready. We were exhausted otherwise this wouldn’t have been so upsetting.

We had a good stay once we actually checked in. Room was large enough for our family of 4 with a dog and the facilities were nice. Breakfast was good despite the limited seating. But our interaction with the front desk left a lot to be desired. We called two days in a row inquiring about an early check in and got less than helpful responses/hung up on. But understanding that it depends on the day, the room type, and the cleaning order… we still showed up early and requested early check in. We were told that it was not possible but they would call as soon as a room was ready. They never did. Once we finally arrived late (after making alternative arrangements for our dog w friends at a nearby hotel) there was no one at the check-in desk so our two young kids and dog had to wait AGAIN to finally get to our room. Like I said, the hotel and room were just fine. The guy working the breakfast area was great. But the front desk staff… not so much.
