It is an older hotel, but quite nice. Great location for United Center events! Convenient parking.

Great staff but beware of other guests
The staff was super friendly and great but some of the clientele was sketchy. We were awakened very early on Saturday by a woman and man shouting at each other about getting high! We stayed here because it had decent reviews and it was within walking distance to the United Center.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice. The hotel is in walking distance of the United Center. I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely stay here again when I need to attend an event at the United Center.

The front desk clerk failed to mention that I should avoid parking in the Teamsters garage next door. I made the mistake of thinking that that was acceptable parking for the hotel. It was dark when I arrived, I did not see a sign that said the garage was closed on Sunday. When I woke, I found my car locked inside. Luckily, there was a number to call and someone did come and help me out.

Good location, convenient to the United Center. The condition of the hotel could be better, hallway carpet needs cleaning, our room was not clean. The floors had not been thoroughly mopped (laminate floors) in the room. When the people above us walked, the floor squeaked. Overall I liked the area, but hotel should do a little better in the area of cleanliness.

I typically don’t write below average reviews, but there are a few things that occurred that made this a less than ideal place to stay. The arrival was good and the front desk clerk helped me find a good room after getting a few that faced the parking garage. I do appreciate his help on that. I did forget to put up the do not disturb tag on the door, but most places recently don’t offer service unless requested. I used the safe for a laptop, and noticed the safe had been opened on two occasions. Garbage was removed from the room, so I can only assume this was housekeeping. Nothing was missing, but I can’t think of any reason why housekeeping would open the safe twice during my stay. There was a bucket kept outside of my room the entire stay with what looked like wet dust at the bottom of it along with other debris in the hallway. Appearances didn’t seem to be a concern. The area is not great. Multiple nearby patrons indicated there have been recent robberies in the area, and also a recent shooting at the United Center. I’m a big guy, but there was definitely an uneasy feeling walking the area after 10-11pm. Lastly, I had one night my neighbors came back around 1am and blasted music until about 4am at which time they began screaming at each other and fighting until about 5am. Not really anything the hotel could do about that, but some of the guests were a little unsavory. While all the front desk staff were very kind, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Location was great. Entry to hotel was similar to entry to apt building. Lobby is intimate. Great coffee is offered right outside the breakfast room.

The room was not ready by check in time, despite arriving later than check in. The lobby smelled like dog. Parking was extremely tight and limited (was told over phone it did not need to be reserved in advance). I also called to see if i should bring my own bedding as the room details say "no bed sheets available " and was told that was not true, the beds are made". I guess technically both were true. The bed was made with pillows and one white sheet tightly wrapped around the mattress and multiple layers of old, partially disintegrating mattress padding. There was nothing you could cover with or get under to sleep. The room also smelled as though it was regularly smoked in. Floors were not cleaned.
