Got changed to their other motel, Abbey lodge due to apparent water issues. Review based on that one. Extremely disappointed, run down, tape on shower head, mouldy shower, jug didnt work. Outdoor area unkept and no chairs. It was clean though so thats soemthing.

While we were shifted from the 136 to the Abbey (same owners) we were very happy with the service. Ended up upgraded to a two bedroom unit which was worth double what we originally booked. Allowed a late checkout free of charge. Motel was tidy and bed was comfortable. Overall very happy. Thank you

Great stay. Super convenient location. great Uber eat options available. Late check in was a breeze. Motel is on the older side but super happy with what I paid vs what I got. AMAZING shower pressure.

Nice, clean, older style motel. Warm welcome from friendly staff. Basic amenities but everything I needed for a short stay. My only concern was that having to wash my dishes in the bathroom handbasin felt a bit unhygienic.

Really enjoyed our stay - more than accomodating team - we were late arriving - no problem - we needed a spot to pop our bags prior to leaving - no problem - very relaxed and spotless bathroom - love the dark coloured 'make up; friendly flannel Thanks Amy Sonia and team for taking care of us

Quiet getaway
We stayed here twice in a week, once in a downstairs room which was really good and then in an upstairs room which was really rather noisy. This could have been due to it being a Friday night. All in all though a great stay and handy to Christchurch city. Clean and tidy units. Would stay again.
