The picture of the pool online is incredibly deceiving. Online it was blue and clean and inviting. In person, not so much. Dirty, bugs (big) floating and just plain not working…pool chairs and lounges were all broken in one way or another. There were no signs saying it was closed but when I went to the office to ask about the pool they said yes it was closed. This is something that should be mentioned on check in. The pool was one of the main reasons we picked this hotel and we couldn’t even use it.

The motel is very easy to find, right off of Hwy 77. Check- in was easy. When we arrived at the room it smelled musty and the AC did not work. There were clipped fingernails on the desk- disgusting. Tried to call the front desk and there was no answer. The call went to voice mail each time i called. We had to walk to the office to alert them to the AC issue. They did promptly come to the room and had to relocate us to another room. The bathroom light fixtures was partially detached from the wall and there was fear it may fall. Overall very rundown.

There was soap in the shower when we got there. I take that as it was not cleaned! Had to ask for washcloths, as there weren’t enough for our party. Had to go get toilet paper because there was not any extra in the bathroom.
