Not what I expected

The reviews and the pictures weThe reviews and pictures were somewhat misleading. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was that the property is part of an RV/trailer park. Additionally, the hot tub and pool are community amenities and not exclusive to the property. On a positive note, the trailer was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking dinner. However, the shower and showerhead were definitely the least impressive aspects of the trailer. The hosts were very helpful with directions and replacing the TV in the living room the next morning. This was my first experience using VRBO, and I realize now the importance of examining the property details more carefully, as photos can be deceptive. Even with the five-star reviews for this property, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed when I arrived. a little misleading. This property was in a "RV/Trailer park" was the first thing we saw as we pulled up. The hot tub and pool are community and not part of the property. The trailer was clean and comfortable and there were plenty of items in the kitchen to make dinner. The shower and the shower head were probably the worst part of the trailer. this was my first time using VRBO and I will do a little better looking at the details of the property because pictures can be a little deceiving. Even with the 5 star reviews that were posted for this property, I got there and said really?

Great weekend fishing getaway.

Perfect for us!

Wife and I wanted to spend a few days in Rockport. We had tried about a month ago but hurricane Irma ruined our chance. Made reservations at the same place and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very eclectic but we both love the weirdness of Austin and this place brought back our Austin memories. We stayed in the Dolphin Pod and it was great. Well equipped, two bedrooms with doors, AC that worked well. Sweet pool and hot tub. We were the only ones in the pool and hot tub although that probably changes on the weekends. Communication with the host was without incident. To be honest, we have stayed at several vrbo's the last few years and this was the first time without any incidents at all. No AC issues, no power issues, everything worked. Wish it was always this easy. Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay!

We booked this as a didn’t want to go to far but wanted beach trip since our cruise got canceled. We had never stayed in Rockport and found this gem by chance. It had something for everyone in the family. There was fishing, beaches not to far and the place itself was great. Loved the pool and jacuzzi! We were worried the pool would be crowded and found just the opposite. My teen boys loved it. We stayed in the dolphin pod- cute decorations- we had 6 in our group and it was not crowded. Loved the fenced in front porch. The owner was prompt and helpful when I had a question. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Definitely a hidden Gem

I booked this as a new year fishing getaway with the wife unfortunately she was unable to go due to work so I went by myself and she sure did miss out! The place was awesome, just as described, it’s in a great location for the fishing spots I intended to hit I took my own space heater cause it doesn’t have one listed in the amenities however there were already 2 heaters there so I stayed nice and toasty during the cold nights. It’s seemed like everything I forgot to pack they had there, I’m more of a keep to myself person and they respected that and I appreciate that I even had a buddy come down last min with his boat and stayed a night the owners accommodated his boat parking without any questions asked they really seem like a nice couple I very much recommend this place and will be back for future visits
