It felt like they were understaffed as the service was not comparable to other resorts. The night entertainment was always 15-30 mins late to start. The resort itself was very clean. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing atmosphere, Allegro is it. The food in the reservation restaurants was not as good as other resorts. Bell hops were very accommodating and more so than the front desk attendants.

The restaurant staff and housekeeping at Allegro are excellent. The staff at the front desk and management not so much. I had reservations for two rooms with double beds in each room for nine months only to be disappointed at check in. My family was spread across the resort in different buildings. This made it inconvenient. Management did nothing to rectify the situation. Very disappointed.

We had a great time and would definitely return. The rooms are small but clean. We had some water dripping in from what I assume was the AC unit. We didn't make an issue of it, because we didn't want to mess around with changing rooms. The restaurants are hard to get reservations to, but we got a reservation to the Oriental restaurant and it was great. The rest of the time we ate the buffet which always had something we liked. The staff was great, drinks were easy to get. The beach area was beautiful and we spent most of our time there. Great resort to go to especially for families.

I liked that it was very safe for my family. I didnt really like the food as it seemed difficult to get meat for breakfast without waiting in a long line. Types of meat were very limited for lunch and dinner. Every single drink I tried tasted odd (orange juice did not taste like orange juice). The beaches and pools were beautiful and I really liked they had options for kids at the beach and in the lounge. Overall the place was good for the cost. Most of the staff was kind but some were dismissive and preoccupied with their phones or coworkers. MTS was very helpful with travel and tours!

The beach front property was amazing. The bar staff was great. The cleanliness was not great on the property overall in terms of sanitary across bathrooms, food serving places, pools, etc., however the housekeeping staff refilled our room with things needed promptly. Unfortunately, the shower and refrigerator weren’t in the best working conditions but we were able to make do. We had to eat off the resort quite a few times in order to make sure the person with celiac could eat appropriately because the staff wasn’t able to tell us which foods were gf (ingredient wise). We did already know that this would be a little harder accommodation but the website did say that they had options available for dietary or they would be able to at least let us know what ingredients were used. Construction/tree cutting was done at 7am a few days while we were there. The place was beautiful and we did try to overlook a lot of the little things but they did add up.

Had a wonderful stay at Allegro Resort in Cozumel. The diving was spectacular and everybody at Pro Dive was friendly and my guides, Boon and Martin were wonderful. The resort staff were friendly and the food was good. Had a mix up with my reservation as booked a double room and tried to put me in a king bed. Front desk changed this right away which was great, but ended up in a room that was in need of some repair. The resort was doing construction on the room next door, and our room had broken light fixtures and bare walls so I think it was possibly next for a make over. Needless to say enjoyed the resort and area, had fun on excursions and fantastic diving, so was a wonderful week.

This is our second time at Allegro Cozumel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is tasteful and there are lots of options. The beach is clean and beautiful. Overall, it’s a great place to stay with family.

I would highly recommend avoiding flying with United at all cost. United staff was not helpful/RUDE!! NOT friendly at any of the airports we flew into. They made over five groups of people abandon their luggage. Pros- there were many activities. Complimentary snorkel gear and kayaking for 1 hour a day. Very child friendly. Cons- I was charged almost an extra $200 for my 13-year-old when I arrived because they said he was an adult, but he was not able to participate in any of the "adult" activities such as beach volleyball or water polo. Be prepared to pay a pre-room tax of $20. We booked a family room and a king room, but they did not have family room so they gave us three rooms and charged us $60. The front desk is impersonable, we were not greeted with a hello or may I help you, drinks, nothing. It is very hard to book a restaurant. The swim up bar does not always have a bartender there and sometimes you need to wait. The food is okay, but of our party of six four of us had gotten sick two different times. Spy / massage service was very light and felt like someone was just very lightly rubbing lotion on you even after asking for more pressure. Overall, the people were nice. There were more than plenty of activities for our family to do which we greatly appreciated. The drinks were all very good. Our rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaning staff was very helpful. Other than a few unexpected fees and teens not being able to play games it was a good trip
