The hotel itself is amazing. Very spacious. Staff are attentive. It was lovely to eat or drink at the balcony overlooking the old dock & the old tobacco warehouse. A bit less than half an hour to walk to Albert dock. The surrounding area is a bit run down. Buffet breakfast is good. The restaurant food is not the best. We ate there first night and ate somewhere else the second night. Parking on site at £8 a day.

Great hotel, big rooms but not soundproof

We stayed in a dockside superior room which was a lovely big room with fabulous views through 2 large windows. It also had a good, large bath/shower room. The spa isn’t huge but very nice. We didn’t have a treatment so can’t comment on that. We ate once in the restaurant and it was nice but a little overpriced. The only downside is that we had an interconnecting door to our neighbours and it was not soundproofed at all. They weren’t shouting but we could hear every word so wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for peace and quiet

Room was spacious and clean. Very convenient overall as we were only using for rest. Cannot comment on walkability. Met all of our needs otherwise. The wall the tub and shower were on dividing our bedroom and bathroom appeared to have a possible leak.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff beautiful building

Check in went smoothly, friendly service, giving advice about hotel. Room was spacious & well decorated, great Espa toiletries. Everything you need is provided. Restaurant was lovely, views of the dock, felt the menu was limited, would like more choice, service was excellent. Breakfast very tasty lots of choice.

Such a lovely hotel, has everything you could need. Spotlessly clean friendly staff. We were there for a wedding and what amazing day it was. Would well recommend, will be returning again

Nice spacious rooms, nice views! Check in staff very friendly and quick to get us checked in! Unfortunately there was a wedding on the night we stayed but we was not told about this, when we was trying to order drinks at the hotel bar it seemed guests for the wedding were using the normal bar instead of their own bar which meant we waited nearly 20 minutes for drinks! Wedding went on quite late which was very noisy! this is not an issue everyone is allowed a good time but would have been good to be told about the wedding before we arrived!
