Dallas Winter Storm with added distress
During a winter storm, we had drs appointments on Wednesday and Friday so we decided to stay over in Dallas close to utsw. The sheets were ‘pilled’ and rough, but we tolerated it. Breakfast next morning was pretty disappointing-only Fruitloops and 2 empty containers, only water in the juice machine and no salt when I settled for a hard boiled egg. Heard someone ask for a knife to cut his waffle and he was told there were no knives. By our last day there was no waffle batter and not even a fruitloop. Due to storm, Dr visit was changed to a call that would come around 11:30 am. We asked the manager for a late check out so we weren’t on the road with iffy cell service. He informed us that he could not allow more than 11:20 without us booking another night-bad storm, cardiac Dr appointment-no flexibility. We checked out at 11 and sat in the dining area to wait for the call. Guest ladies room had no soap dispenser. Oh, the mattress moved out a little from the wall revealing disgusting stuff on top of the box springs that morning-never again.
