If I can give this location negative stars I would. It is NOT clean at all or near safe. Has to be an older property compared to other locations and owner clearly does not care for customers. This place is beyond horrible.

Y'all, I don't even know how to be fair with this one. First, the owners and people working are extremely nice. I found that all my interactions with them were very nice. The hotel on the other hand, the reviews that give it positives on everything are incorrect. The property itself has so much trash all around it. It does appear that the owners are attempting to update some stuff. I noticed a trash dump area in the back with a lot of old furniture. I noticed pallets of new stuff waiting for install. The clientele for this type place were shady AF. People sitting on the steps, I saw a handful of hand to hand transfers. At one point someone was swapping out an engine or transmission in a car next time. The birds had probation officers. The room had the ever so strong odor of the devil's lettuce. The steps leading up to the second floor were concrete on metal but half of them were not attached. The room is bare minimum and like I said, had a special smell. The stand that the mini-fridge was in had like 15 burn spots in, assuming where the pipe was laid down. The bed was horribly hard and the pillows were as small as chicken nuggets. I didn't sit on the special casting couch but the desk chair would suffice. Did I mention the missing arms? The light switches were floppy... The bathroom had enough black hair to weave a blanket, which I did, it was nice. I don't think anything as far as breakfast or even coffee was provided, it was just barren and desolate. I'd avoid.

BETTER check out before 11a!
10 mins before 11a someone knocked on our door. I said give me 15mins. Every 3 mins they kept knocking. When we finally exited, a man a younger gentleman were saying "11 is checkout. 11 is checkout. We are waiting for you!" As they showed me their phone with 11:04 on it. I asked if it was really that serious when there are less than stellar people living, wandering around and hanging out in their cars with the whole place smelling like a dispensary. They need to worry about them over me leaving at 11:04. They just looked at me.

Everything about the property was expected. What was unexpected was to be woken up at 10 am the next morning and also maintenance was apparently fixing something on our door but they never bothered to let us know, instead we got really scared because it sounded like someone was trying to open the door!!! Please be aware that this might happen. And to the staff, please let your guests know before even touching the door!! It was quite an unpleasant experience. Thank you!

The room felt damp the entire time, and had a strange smell. The toilet paper had less than a quarter of a roll on it, as well as the pillows being basically child sized. It gets the job done but I won’t be returning.

The hidden fees
Paid for room through app upfront. Upon arrival was charged an additional $50 cash only deposit of which I knew nothing about. I don't carry cash. They did not have an ATM, so I had to go to a gas station to withdrawal the cash needed. Overall it was a very unpleasant check in.
