Good value for the price

The room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom fixtures were very dated but functional. The bath towels seemed very worn and the ceiling fan was very dirty but the floor, tub and sink were very clean and there was no hair on the floor. Our room also had new carpeting which was nice. The TV stations did not work very well, all stations were having a hard time working due to poor internet speed or something like that. We chose to stay here because it was 3 miles from a wedding we attended. The room served its purpose. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

The location was very convenient for my needs. Much of the property seemed like it was last redone in the 1980's. Looks like the present owners are starting to give it a facelift

While this looked like an ordinary roadside motel from the front, when we opened the door to our deluxe, double queen riverside room, we were surprised and delighted by the view from the enormous picture window that framed the beautiful lawn leading down to the river behind the inn.

I stayed just for one night but the place was excellent. The king bed room was very spacious including the bathroom and very comfortable. There are a couple of adirondack chairs right on the banks of the Housatonic River, sat and took a very peaceful nap there. For what I needed, it was a really good place to stay - met with folks in New Milford, which is like 5 minutes away along with the Housatonic Brewery. Great place. (2 mins away.) The price was affordable given the area as most other properties were much higher.
