Only accessible by ferry! If this is your first trip to Daufuskie you are in for a wonderful surprise! From the minute you walk thru the front door the flooring leads you to the charming living area with a ocean theme. Open the doors and enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by breathtaking waterfront views on your own private screened in porch. Our kitchen is furnished with a full size appliances and equipped with everything needed to prepare casual or gourmet meals. The dining area has a table with seating for 8 and there are 3 bar stools for dining at the breakfast bar. Our cottage can accommodate up to eight comfortably. The living room has a large leather sectional with a leather recliner and large flat screen TV. The master bedroom on the ocean with a King/queen size bed and private bath, the guest bedroom with a king/queen size bed and private bath. Linens are provided and there is a full size washer & dryer in the laundry room off the kitchen. The communal pool is located a 5 minute walk along the cottage. Bring your pets for a non refundable charge . If you are vacationing with family or friends and would like to stay close to them (but not in the same cottage), please consider my other units in the area. Let me know your needs. At the beach life is different, time doesn't move hour by hour but moment to moment. Come live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun. We welcome you to stay and relax in our cottage and hope you leave with memories that last a lifetime!

Wonderful Trip
Our stay was wonderful! The house and beach access were perfect with a quick trip down the path to the pool! Our kids had a wonderful time on the beach and in the calm waves. The porch was a perfect spot to enjoy to view of the ocean with coffee each morning. We had a nice view of the Hilton Head fireworks for 4th of July without much of the noise. On a second trip we would be more prepared with what is available on the island and what we would need to bring (and not bring) with us. The property manager was great and responds quickly when you're there!

A slice of heaven
I found this place by accident and I'm so glad i did. If you are wanting peaceful and relaxing vacation, this is for you. The house was perfect for us. We loved the screened in porch over looking the beach. We spent so much time there and on the beach. We can not wait to come back here next year.

Loved the screened patio overlooking the water.
Also, Susan is so nice and very accomodating. It was a lovely stay. The only caution is there are extra costs for the ferry ride and golf cart on the island. BUt overall, a very relaxing vacation!

Beautiful family week at the beach!
We just returned from an incredible week on Daufuskie Island, and this cottage was PERFECT!! We love Daufuskie for the simplicity, the quiet, and the peaceful environment. It is low key, and that is what we needed. Susan was outstanding! She answered any questions immediately - provided any extra details that we needed, including a new Kuerig coffee maker when I was having trouble with the one in the cottage - that afternoon there was a brand new one waiting for us. I cant say enough glowing things about Susan, this cottage, and the island.

Our favorite place!

Perfect in every way!
A wonderful spring break! Time with my kids well spent. I couldn’t have asked for a better property manager…Susan Jones was the best. House was great and clean. Beds were comfortable. I will bring more beach toys… never enough shovels. 😊. I can’t wait to come back. An escape from the fast pace, I loved it. If it’s your first time and you are doubting the ferry ride…do it anyway. You can get milk and essentials at the general store. Bring bars and nonperishables. A wagon on the ferry is a good idea too. All the locals are awesome as well.

Laid Back Retreat
This was our first visit to Daufuskie but will not be our last. It was a great getaway with a grand view of the ocean right from the screened in porch. Accommodation was very comfortable, and the golf cart transportation made it feel like an adventure. Look forward to returning in the future.

First Magical Trip to the Island!
This beachfront cottage was fantastic. Daufuskie is definitely a hidden gem. We loved our experience so much that we added an extra night to our stay. Susan was fantastic at assisting us and getting us everything we needed and where we needed to go. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place and views
The cottage was exactly as pictured and advertised. Steps away from the beach and great oceanfront view from the screened in Porch. Susan was amazing all weekend (we love Ron too). Before our trip Susan answered all of our questions and got back to me quickly. We were picked up and dropped off on schedule and golf carts were waiting for us to explore the island. While there she was available for anything we needed. I highly recommend this property but especially Susan and team.

Relaxing Family Vacation
We would absolutely stay in this lovely beach front home again! Nothing better than hearing and seeing the ocean water just steps from the large screened in front porch. Walks on the beach were unparalleled. Susan was accommodating and helpful to work with. The family that owns this property clearly takes pride in their home. Very relaxing
We had a very relaxing week! The house was very nice, however we had to rewash all the dishes as we found dried eggs and other food on pans and silverware. There was black mold coming out of the return vents in the master bathroom. The owners have made several improvements with paint, clean linens, and comfortable furniture/beds. Our contact, Susan Jones, was amazing to work with as she addressed any questions/requests we had.

This is an awesome rental, well-maintained and appointed, everything needed for the beach, meal prep, etc, total of 4 TVs. Beach access directly in front. We were expecting a single family home but is actually half of a duplex but wasn't an issue at all. Awesome rental on an amazing island.

Ultimate Relaxation!!!
Most vacations I have been on have included some form of stress - time demands, getting dressed for dinner, what things to “schedule” while you’re there, places to see, etc. This trip was WONDERFUL. No fighting for space on the beach, no time demands, no having to get dressed up for anything. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves, everything we needed for the beach was at the house and the house was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. We rode the golf cart around with both our dogs every day to see the beauty and history of the island. We relaxed on the beach all day and was amazed by God’s handiwork. At night we played cards, laughed and talked. These are things we rarely, if ever, have time for. We are now refreshed and rejuvenated to jump back into everyday grind. Everyone should be get a chance to do this at least once........

Beautiful beach house and Ocean View
The beach house was beautiful , clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed being right on the beachfront. The host was kind and helpful. This was our first Vrbo home rental and it was very peaceful. However, the Island is in need of lots of repairs, I wish I would have knew of that prior to going, that part was a little unsettling as I had pictured in my mind a beautiful landscape on the entire Island.
