CHEATERS!! Hotels.com should REMOVE this hotel!!!
Tavisha hotel is NUMBER ONE CHEATER! If Hotels.com cares for its reputation, them DELIST TAVISHA NOW! We went on the night of 11th December as per our booking, but they had already sold my room and also were impolite. The hotel's premises and rooms are THIRD CLASS and do NOT deserve even 2 stars. I so much did not like this hotel and they CHEATED me by NOT giving me room even though I had paid in advance, that I had to stay with my colleagues and book another room for one of the nights in Delhi at the last minute. I demand FULL REFUND from Hotels.com and they should CLAIM it from Tavisha hotel. By the way, I am not the only one who got this experience, it is also written in one of the guest's feedback on your website!

Hotel staff didn’t know what’s going on they change our room to a different hotel saying its same owners hotel. When we booked the hotel it was confirmed so why they took us in a different hotel??

Tavisha Hotel a nightmare
Check-in was a surprise for the staff, needed long confirmation. Extra roll away bed was not put into room as requested, needed to ask with assertion to get basics right. Staff seemed puzzled as to their duties. Restaurant offerings and service extremely poor. Will not recommend this hotel. Extractor fan in bathroom didn't work. Big safety hazard noted in that a big glass pane which is not safety glass as per safety standards forms part of the division to the outside....a person could easily slip & break this glass with possible catastrophic consequences.

Good Location, but bad choice
There was one towel in the bathroom though I called ahead multiple times to let them know that I am bringing my mother. They could not provide me with names of any airport shuttle services and just said to take Uber though I stated I didn't feel it would be safe at 4 a.m. The bedsheets looked unwashed too.

Neat & Clean with good service
The room was good. Bathroom was neat and clean, though exhaust was not functional yet, which they said are still in process of being made ready in next few days. Food in the restaurant was very good.

Looks attractive from the inside, floors needed a good mop, condensation build-up and water pooling along the window ledge when we got there! Mould on ceiling in one room. Electricity off from 7:00 pm (good thing we were sleeping from exhaustion from our international flight), resumed around 5:00am?? Noisy on our floor (staff exchanges?) Charged Inr 1800 for a taxi to take us to Nizamuddin station for Agra. Positives: Breakfast excellent and the most comfortable bed and pillows (no allergy probs)!! 2/5

Dirty rooms and slow service
The house keeping department sucks! The TV wasn't working and I called many times for help but no one turned up. On another two instances, I had to get my luggage downstairs and called the reception for help but no one came. The room was dirty, dusty and the bathroom was untidy. The food was not bad. Room service is good.

Great hotel at best location
I had a 2 days stay at this hotel and everything was smooth and comfortable, starting from checkin to checkout. we reached early morning and hotel allowed us to checkin with no additional cost and allowed to checkout also little later than normal checkout time. Staff was good and friendly specially Mr. Rahul S who helped us to to know the best placed around it. Breakfast was excellent and we loved it. this is the best property to stay in regards to location specially for people who come to delhi for visa work. I recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great service, great food, comfortable room.
My friend and I were in New Delhi for a festival. The staff at Tavisha were fantastic. They were super friendly and helped us with every need we had. They helped us organize a great driver (Mr. Raj) who took us all over town. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside, which we knew in advance from reviews, was that the hot water was spotty and more like warm. The food at the hotel was delicious. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff at the front desk dont even look at u and never say hi they are so busy with their computers Hotel tried to over charge me for the room they tried to charge more than 100% for the taxes They tried to transfer me to another hotel when i asked to change my room they said they need the room for another guest while i had an advanced booking Insect did not let us sleep specially for the last 2 nights But anyway location is good Room service not bad But overall i was expecting alot more like a good greeting and no insects to bite me at nights

The hotel is horrible. Please do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel.A group of ten of us arrived from US after two days of travel only to find out that our booking had been cancelled. They were citing sudden incident that caused electricity failure due to which they couldn't honor the booking. I later got to know they were overbooked by 29 rooms and all guests were frustrated. The staff were rude and transferred us to an even worse hotel. Please spare yourself the trouble. The pics are deceptive.

It's basic and clean and good value for money if you are on a budget. I found mould on my ceiling and nothing was done about it. Slight dampness in the sheets when I got into bed, but only slight. food very good, especially the evening meals. breakfast ok too and cheap. The only trouble I had was nobody (Taxis Tuk-tuks etc) seemed to know where it was and I had to carry a map with me with a cross on it! Even after that, the map was so small it was hard to read if they had bad eyesight and I needed a magnifying glass to read it! (This was a map I bought outside). Near the hotel there are beggars on the streets including children. Quite upsetting in that respect but that's part of India. Hotel staff are all nice and welcoming. Not the sort of place you can walk about so much because it is dusty and polluted (but I did anyway). The smell of urine greets you at every street corner (presumably since there rae little or no public toilets). The streets are littered with rubbish which is periodically burnt.
